    Excellent series. Im trying to cut down and organise better. Brilliant that you are using products that you like rather than sponsored items. I will re watch this series again. Don’t believe I have seen such in depth video or article covering this.

    Re-watching these vids almost 8 months after I first seen them. Well worth another look, very interesting and it's about time you came up with some more posts. You keep doing um and I'll keep liking um.
    Thanks 👍

    Interesting to hear you use a cheap 10ft carp rod & cheap reel set up for baiting up with heavier groundbait feeders Dan..makes perfect sense as I'm just about to buy a Supera SL 11ft feeder rod for bream fishing on my local canal basins & it's only rated to 30gm loaded feeders..I will follow your advice on this as I wouldn't like to risk overloading it...and as you mentioned there's no need to pay a fortune for a carp rod & reel if only to be used for baiting up..Great tip that..Cheers!👍

      Hi Gary. The 11ft SL is a great rod and is fine for putting out a bit of bait at the start with a small feeder. But as you say, if you wanted to bait up with something bigger like a Guru Baitup feeder, a cheap carp rod will make it a lot easier and safer!
      For long range baiting up, you do need a reasonable quality rod and reel to hit the range, but for the short casts you’d be doing with an SL rod, a very cheap setup will do the job. Measuring sticks also ensure that you get both rods clipped up at the same range. I’m really pleased that it will be of help to you. Thanks for the feedback. 😃

    Brilliant like previously said but are you doing any more..maybe do one on feeders, reels, terminal tackle- what's in your tackle box?

    Wow. I'd be like a kid in a sweet shop. Spend all trying to pick something. LOL. Good video with plenty of interesting comment.

      Lol! Same as anything, the more you do the more specialised it becomes. Before I first stated taking the feeder fishing side seriously, I only had a few feeder rods and a small box of feeders and thought I had everything covered. Over time, everything becomes more fine tuned and tweaked. I now feel that whatever situation I have, I’m not just picking gear that will do the job, but instead choosing what is absolutely perfect for the job.

    Dan, given the shop you mentioned I must be fairly local to you. That’s quite an array of feeders that you’ve got! I’ve got the N’zon large feeder bag and try and make that the only bag I take if I’m purely feeder fishing. I enjoyed your video and have subscribed.

      Thanks Richard. I live in sunny Northamptonshire! I try to only take 1 feeder bag with me at a time too. 2 bags full on the bank is a bit extreme!

    Some mega effort and thought gone into how your gear is kept/stored 👌🏻 and have to agree, we’re all (or most of us) consumed with compatibility over functionality 😲 Loving the vids, gonna try and take some of this on board but my ‘ocd’ is saying ‘hell no’ 🤣 Dreading you running through your stackers 😲

    hi dan i know my question is off topic but do you think that the colmic extreme superior whips you tested are the best tele whips you hve fished with an do they come with hollow tip and would you fish them elasticated or with a flick tip connector

    • @danwebbfishing456
      @danwebbfishing456  Před 3 lety

      Hi Paul,
      I’ve not looked at all the whips on the market, but they are the best I’ve held. They come with flick tips and have a superb action making them ideal for smaller fish. You could elasticate them for heavier duty work, but if I was to do that I’d probably go for a system whip and use the dedicated hollow tops that come with them, rather than spoil their action.

      @danwebbfishing456  Před 3 lety

      I keep my feeder arm in my carryall. My kit is from a life long obsession with match fishing, which has of course meant sacrifices else where to pay for it.
