that just means they are playing on different aspect ratios. Until remastered came out 4:3 (the smaller window) was the only option. Many players have played with 4:3 for perhaps 2 decades and are so used to it that it would hurt their performance to switch to 16:9. many players did adapt to see more though.
@@RareBrink see more sideways but not up and down. many pros still use default hotkeys too even though they are objectively worse than a well thought out custom hotkey set-up. But the margins are small so laziness and what you are used to wins
