Philips 932 record player repair - Part 1 (Disassembly and diagnosis)

Philips 932 was one of the first stereo record players that was sold in Indian market. I have tried to examine the problem, in this part. Unfortunately I lost some clips while editing this video where I gave a more detailed insight to this player.
Next part I'll be addressing the main problem with shorted output transistors and I'll also lubricate the motor assembly .

This AD161/162 complementary pairs were very good. I'm really interested to see how you will replace these by Si pairs. I have tried it but not succeeded. Please upload the next part.

Thanks to you , transformer fuse you told us but that's fuse, please don't remove sefaty for system, you just pull the small terminal and shoulder tham,you get power for d.c.so please confirm iam getting the power..

Aapko RIAA wala phono preamp kharidna ya banana hoga agar aapka cartridge magnetic hai. Ceramic cartridge hai toh normal pre amp se chal jaega.

Mostly because of bad Needle. Anti skating mechanism might also be the reason for higher end players.
