  • In this video I demonstrate a complete guide to cutting ceramic tiles.
I show how to do straight cuts using a tile cutter and the score and snap method. I show how to cut a large hole in the tile for a pipe to pass through. I show how to cut a small sliver off the edge of a tile and finally I show how to do curved cuts in tiles.

The piece I cut with the grinder was too narrow to snap cleanly on the tile cutter.

Thank you so much I am super grateful. I’ve googled and watched videos shattered loads of tiles bought a glass cutter because the flatbed I have I thought didn’t work I even bought an Angle grinder and diamond blades. Because as a grandmother and great grandmother and a never having done it before felt overwhelmed. Then I found you and succeeded using the flatbed. You are the only one who speaks carefully shows what to do and doesn’t have music blaring then finishes after 44 seconds. Nightmare Bless you

You were just the person I needed to watch. Excellent video. I needed to figure out the best way to cut the hole in my tile, using that block is a great idea and it holds the puddle of water. Thumbs up on that curvy line, good job. :)

Excellent demonstration. It was the only one to explain the 'Sliver' technique. Infuriatingly, some of my tiles are only 1-3mm oversize to a corner so I'll have to try to rig up some sort of guide for the grinder. Anyway, invention is all part of the fun.

    • @spendtimesavemoneydiy

This machine is so unreliable. It makes a clear cut on top when you run the slider, but whenever i put a pressure on it to separate two pieces, it breaks the tile to the sides and leaves it useless.
