I think, in my honest opinion, that her worst ‘selfish’ season was season two seeing as she sent Sunshine to a crackhouse and placed tape over her mouth simply because Quinn and Sam were taking the leads in competition. I think her best ‘teamwork’ season was season three when she focused on college rather than being the star. That is, until Tina and her argued over Nationals.

No. That was the song she was most confident in. She literally performed it to audition for Glee club. Obviously all of them knew other songs, but that didn't mean they would be ready in less than an hour. True performers and singers have to prepare by knowing every line and movement in a song. You have to know the pitch and timbre you need, possibly even a bit of a twist to make the song your own or more unique. For example, when they did the film version of Rent, I remember them saying in one of the songs the actors held the note longer than the Broadway version.

But even then, Rachel's song wouldn't have been the same if performed by either of the groups that stole their songs. It's a song you have to have strong vocals for so that would rule out the deaf academy kids, and it doesn't have the spring to it that the juvenile girls had. If you remember they were more about hip hop type songs. So in whole it made sense that it ended up this way.

They cant do hair/crazy in love from hairography since they need hair and it was scratched and cant do jump from mattress bc it was choreographed in bed.. so thats that on that

Oftentimes Rachel has admitted that Kurt and Mercedes are just as good though! Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Amber Riley all have amazing voices, but very different voices. Mercedes can belt like no one else can in the Glee choir. Rachel has the most musically flexible voice, and Kurt is a _phenomenal_ tenor for the vocal range he has. I honestly don't think their voices can be compared, just because they're so drastically different. I think they're all just as good as the other.

Actually this can happen in real life. Some people work better under pressure. Haven't you heard the phrase "in the clutch"? It's basically about coming in last minute and succeeding. It's like how your not supposed to leave studying and homework until the last minute. I think that depends on your class. There were some classes I had in college where I'd get my homework done the morning it was due, and still get no lower than a B.
Something people ignore. Rachel never had a solo in competition at this point but for the team stepped aside when praised Mercedes but people ignore. When the boys and girls had a competition Rachel was the one who came up with idea and storyboard the performance. Mercedes said they didn't need to rehearse When April dropped out of Somebody to love none of the girls were prepared to step up but Rachel did. Rachel is the one who had the idea to do original songs and wrote the one the group decided to use. When they had real audition for National solos in season 2 Mercedes admits she didn't practice. The canon the whole time was Rachel was more prepared and wanted it more. Mercedes had a great natural talent but her journey was she needed a Rachel type to get her to focus more and push her. Rachel needed Mercedes too to know there was always someone just as good as her ready to take her spot. People act like Rachel was out to get Mercedes, but she was never she acknowledged her talent very early.

George Allen same with Finn. He was the only male vocalist who could work with the rest of the club without ever coming off as controlling. Also, his voice was the best that paired with Rachel‘s. Arty, Sam, and Blaine had beautiful voices, but they were better either with each other or with Santana, Mercedes, or Rachel. People always get mad when Rachel and fin are the leaders of the club and get a lot of the duets, but the club really struggles without them

@Suzanne Cap Did you watch the video? They were going to sing And I Am Telling Youas their ballad but their setlist was stolen so Mercedes never got to perform it.
@Suzanne Cap 😂😂 They performed Valerie twice, Don't Stop Believing 3 times. They only did this to favor Rachel, that was a shitty plot that made no sense. It was just a big waste of time leading up to the Competition. Poor writing.

Hailey Hoopes It's because she has an annoying broadway voice where she doesn't sing her lines properly, she sings it like she's whining. She isn't the best vocalist on Glee, that's Amber Riley. Every actor/actress has said that.
Mercedes has an annoying pop voice and as far as arty goes I feel that he and Rachel are the best in glee and Kurt is a really close 3rd.

They have two Broadway performers: Lea and Jenna! They both appeared in Broadway productions before GLEE. In fact, they were both in SPRING AWAKENING.
Actually this can happen in real life. Some people work better under pressure. Haven't you heard the phrase "in the clutch"? It's basically about coming in last minute and succeeding. It's like how your not supposed to leave studying and homework until the last minute. I think that depends on your class. There were some classes I had in college where I'd get my homework done the morning it was due, and still get no lower than a B.

She gave mercedes a chance to do solo and she turned it down. So why the hell mercedes always complaining about not have enough solo in glee club?
Something people ignore. Rachel never had a solo in competition at this point but for the team stepped aside when praised Mercedes but people ignore. When the boys and girls had a competition Rachel was the one who came up with idea and storyboard the performance. Mercedes said they didn't need to rehearse When April dropped out of Somebody to love none of the girls were prepared to step up but Rachel did. Rachel is the one who had the idea to do original songs and wrote the one the group decided to use. When they had real audition for National solos in season 2 Mercedes admits she didn't practice. The canon the whole time was Rachel was more prepared and wanted it more. Mercedes had a great natural talent but her journey was she needed a Rachel type to get her to focus more and push her. Rachel needed Mercedes too to know there was always someone just as good as her ready to take her spot. People act like Rachel was out to get Mercedes, but she was never she acknowledged her talent very early.

George Allen same with Finn. He was the only male vocalist who could work with the rest of the club without ever coming off as controlling. Also, his voice was the best that paired with Rachel‘s. Arty, Sam, and Blaine had beautiful voices, but they were better either with each other or with Santana, Mercedes, or Rachel.
People always get mad when Rachel and fin are the leaders of the club and get a lot of the duets, but the club really struggles without them
@@coolchristian6707no Not sure I agree but irrelevant to the point. Mercedes never complained about Finn getting more. Santana got more too and she never complained about her either just Rachel. The club actually did better when Rachel had solo then a duet.

Why does Mercedes always complain about Rachel getting solos, but here when Rachel gave her the opportunity to have a solo, she didn’t take it? Don’t get me wrong, I hate the fact that Rachel always gets solos, but it made no sense when Mercedes didn’t just take it. And she also said Rachel is the best singer but later on she says she’s the best singer. It just doesn’t make any sense.
