This video was very helpful. I have a Russian tutor for learning the playing of the balalaika. Now I don't have to write down the text any longer, but photograph it, turn it into pdf, and from there to text which I copy and get translated through Google. SO: Thanks a lot!

Not only did this help me with a contract with a freelancer, but will help me with all my writing and scripts for my radio show, saving me at least 10-15 hours per week to not have to retype text on images. Thank you, thank you x 500 times to make up for the brain dead people who have the nerve to not like this video. What do they not like about it? It helps and provides practical and useful info. Omg, this was so helpful! It helped me a lot with studying and editing for college if mates or teachers would send me their materials in pdf format for me to edit, but the text appears as a picture, unable to copy it and make it a text, I'd have a pretty hard time figuring it out. Thanks a lot, Kevin! I converted a PDF twice and got it in the end. The first time Word converted the original PDF into images and I saved the first conversion as PDF. The second time I converted the new PDF successfully into editable text in Word. Hope this message could be helpful for others.

I enjoyed your tutorial very much. I had no idea that Word would open a PDF! That's awesome to know. It will help me with my work. I have a question. Can you take a report and save as a PDF? Instead of taking a picture of it with a phone? I have a report that prints for our store. It's a call sheet / basically a daily schedule for our front-end Checkers and Courtesy Clerks. The document shows that it can be edited with an eraser tool and text tool, but it doesn't allow any editing. I'm hoping I can save that report as a PDF and then open it in Word. The report changes every day so I don't want to create a blank document/ table that I type in to and edit. I want that day's schedule that I can edit. I just need to add a row to add another employee or change a lunch break time.

Why it is not working? I got the same prompt, but it does not convert PDF to the editable Word file, it just opens it as a normal word document with picture inserted into a document. Used Word 2021
Apps such as Genius Scan allow you to take a photo with your phone and export it directly as a pdf file, thus allowing you to open directly in Word without having to first convert the jpg. Also in Word it is easier to use 'Export' to create a pdf rather than 'Save as'

Microsoft charges for word so there should be an easier way to peform this action like Google has in Keep Notes. You can extract the text. Atleast now you can scan a document into OneNote and it makes it a PDF.

Hello when I snap a pic it automatically save as JPG file also when I changed that JPG to JPEG format then tried to save in pdf the option in word is not available i don't why the hell does the option not appearing 😭😭😭😭
