I always fly EVA premium economy from LAX to Taipei and have flown from Taipei to Bangkok. Always spectacular service!
I was on this flight as well. Eva air is the best even better then Singapore airlines from my personal experience and that's why I'm a Eva air member now
The only negative I can see is the seat selection, being next to the lavatory is not good as you will have people going to and from the lavatory the whole flight, along with a lot of people standing around you and talking. Definitely would not be peaceful at all.

I did EVA premium Economy from SFO last year. EVA uses the higher density seating in economy on the 777 from SFO and the plane was packed. Maybe 3 empty seats in PE leaving SFO and 6-7 empty seats coming back. The food ranged from mediocre to inedible. I managed a business class upgrade for next month from BKK through TPE to SFO. I'm hoping it will be a much better experience.
The food is not the airline’s fault, it is the caterers that are used in the US. Airlines do not have any control in this.
@@paulready8897 The worst meal was actually catered out of Taipei. From the US, SQ was good, EVA was okay.

I am noticing the beginning of cost cutting in PEY meals, it's not like what I had a few years ago.

Same recline. I like this seat because i can reclined straight away as there was no one behind.

I did not pay any extra.
I dont like how SFO>BKK is mixed cabin

Did they have different options for food or is what they served it?
2 options for each meal. But i didnt try online food ordering.
4 row seat are not very comfortable and not worth the extra dosh. Star alliance members get no benefits travelling on EVA if status is with another airline such as Thai. No preassigned seating choice, no prority boarding or extra baggage. Rubbish.
I am Gold member Thai airways. I got priority boarding, lounge and extra baggage. My flight was July 2023.
I just booked this seat. Was it okay even with the washroom right behind it?
Luckily my flight was not full. It was ok. However, i prefer this seat because i can recline seat fully the whole flight.
