This man is obviously just trying to get people to spend full price on bottles to help his bottom line, and I completely understand. But just because you find a discount bottle does not automatically mean it is fake.
Well hes right, there are fakes and im glad he tells us the signs as it will help us avoiding a fake so dont get too angry at him. there are older amouages that were not magnetic either but hes right the fakers will have sloppy glue, low quality caps.. etc.

That’s the thing. The grey market is where these discounters buy their goods from. It is absolutely possible to get a fake in the grey market. You are taking a chance buying at a discounter of getting a fake product or getting a very old product. That is why in my honest opinion why a lot of these reviews on some fragrances are so inconsistent. Many people are probably walking around with fakes. Just like the luxury handbag business, resellers don’t mean to sell a fake but they do slip through with super fakes being made
Bollocks. We have reputable stores in Denmark selling Amouage and at least a few times per year there is a 20 percent discount, heck, I got one at a 70 percent discount. 100 percent genuine. Plenty of international sellers (reputable as well) will regularly have discounts.
All the things he mentioned you can only find out, after purchasing. Is there nothing where you can tell from the outside that it is fake, before buying?
I would absolutely LOVE to do a follow up video discussing fakes and would love to interview 🙏🏼. This is an industry that is growing, as super fakes are getting closer to the real thing in not only the fragrance industry but also the luxury goods fashion industry. Consumers should be made aware, and me personally even if it means paying more I’d rather support the artistry and the brand than save a few dollars to possibly get scammed and I think most consumers would think this way if there was more awareness.

There must be any E tagging by every manufacturers which is scanned by the buyers on box and the second scan on the bottle (Both scan must scanned one after another to complete the set of scan) then the scan must take it to company site where originality certificate should send to the buyer on register mobile number or email.... Why buyer will go for such a pain answer is for 5 to 10% off for next buy or rewards...
I have about 10 or 11 Amouages and all of them were from discounters for less than half of the retail prices. There is no way my Interlude, Overture, Overture Man can be fake. They blow the roof off the room I’m in, and I’ve compared them to what I smell in the Amouage store in the mall and it’s the same juice. I’ll keep buying from my favorite discounters.

I live in the USA. There are small kiosks at the mall selling TOP niche fragrance brands that not even the brick stores inside the mall carry. Those top niche brands are only sold at Sephora, Dillard's, or Macy's. The kiosks selling those niche brands... I feel sorry for the people getting duped into buying those toxic chemicals passing as "perfumes".

Wow , I bought interlude and I think we have the same bottle , but don’t worry I have seen pictures in google and is original. Obviously I test that perfume on my and smell greate for almost 12 hours
Yes, they changed it to streamline production costs. They can now produce a one-size-fits-all neck ring without having to manufacture one for every single fragrance. They've also stopped putting the name on the side of the bottom and have them on the front instead.
They have changed the bottles frequently. Older bottles have a click cap. Some older bottles say made in the UK. Some have the name of the frag on the side of the bottle and the neck of the atomizer. It helps to check which frags have been discontinued(usually they will have older packaging details). The new hack management have discontinued a lot of Christopher Chong’s work.
We would like to know more about fake characteristics but not prices, why fakes look like authentic ones. Basically, it is very easy to identify fake products of Amouage, but Amouage always change products characteristics: batch coding, boxes, types of packing… Why? To provide more uncertainties?

@zura87 already had 9 amouage perfumes, here I ordered 3 (opus v woods/royal tobacco and rose incense) all arrived with the QR code damaged and decoded. The cap is magnetic and you cannot return it and at the bottom of each bottle there is a phrase at the top and bottom (the information in gold like in the others I have) but no bactch code in the middle. This is the first time I bought this collection, I saw it in a shop in Asia. And back in France I ordered on beautinow yesterday when they arrived I saw that the smell is the same, I put a spray of each and it stayed in my skin. It seems original to me.. on the site they say that they remove the code so that we don't know the origin.. maybe end of series perfumes from other countries or end of stock.. I don't know. Some say it could be UK perfumes because you have 2 Oman and UK versions. What perfume did you buy and where?

amouage also have manufacturing branch in Uk, and from my research and owner of interlude made in uk. Its not as strong/ weak performance as made in oman. As i have made in oman epic and Jubilation 25 which are both stronger and great performance
just bought my interlude man at 37% in the USA. only MFK and Roja Dove al most there are no discounts. i think the factory can control it by reducing productions ... MFK and Roja Dove do good control with production so there are no much discount

Notino (in Europe) is selling Amouge from time to time with a discount of 30-44%. I don't think it is fake sold there :)
