Ugh...lots of typical "he's gay, can't sing," comments. To clear a few things up: first, Scott was not gay. Was married to a model and made it abundantly clear throughout his career that he was a fan of the opposite sex (not that it matters in the slightest). 2nd, this song is a bitch to sing live especially when you're moving the way Scott does throughout the ENTIRE show. If any of you were lucky to catch any of his shows, with ANY band he was with from his early days until he began to fall apart after VR, you would know he does not suck live.. In fact he was amazing live and the best (imo) living frontman alive at the time. His style changed with VR but if this doesnt do it for you ,check out any STP shows from anywhere around 2000 give or take a year or two (off hand I'd highly recommend "STP house of blues" around that year). If that doesnt do it for you as a rock n roll fan than Im not sure we have the same idea of what rock n roll frontmen should be. For you GNR die-hards (who I love as well) just ask yourself why your idols decided on this guy after going through thousands of possible candidates. I understand people not liking this style of performance but to say he sucks may be a little off the mark. As time goes by im confident more and more people will realize just how talented, prolific and versatile this cat really was. Not trying to start shit. Maybe just trying to turn on some fellow rock fans who may not know much about Scotty besides all the negative shit they've seen or heard (and yes there is plenty of it, much of it absolutely true). There's a ton of really great stuff out there as well. Sorry for the monologue. Im high.
velvet revolver concery in glasgow was the best concert iv ever been to. just awesome, i was right in front of slash when he played the solo behind his head :D
he should have restarted singing in the end.. slash's solo was just begging for the ending chorus, in massive style and power. then matt decided to end it after a while.. scott failed, but he has his magic. the rest of the band was just amazing, and the song is one of the best i've ever heard in giving you shivers! and they play it so well.
i love slash, for how much junk he's done, i'm suprised he's alive. Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver both two great bands, hopefully VR can find a new lead singer soon.
