Metallica - "The Shortest Straw" (Bass Cover)

The album with the least bass is the one that got me into Metallica and into playing bass. As James Hetfield once said, the songs in this album are full of rhythm guitar solos. Adding bass to the mix of these songs does take them to a whole new level (in my opinion). With or without bass this album is on my top favorite albums of all time.
*About the bass tone: I did stray from the original bass sound a little on this one on purpose. The timbre Jason has here sounds too scooped and thin. My impression is they rushed the bass production on this one (no doubt).

You could feel his Bass guitar And hear it when I saw them at the Gulf coast coliseum I saw them at. Incredible show. I was 13 but I remember it like it was yesterday. When the album came out me and my friends were floored u coukdnt hear jason. We tried everything, it wasnt on our end. After the basstone on garage days we were so ready for his( jason's)debut . Then nothing. ....Gimme him some volume, damnit.
