Boy Lives With Buddhist Monks for 1 week in Thailand

- While me and Kurt were in Thailand back in October, we got the opportunity of a lifetime. The amazing Monks of Wat Pha Saeng Tham Temple allowed me to live with them and study under them for 7 days. Everyone at the Temple was beyond kind and it'll forever be an experience I will never forget.

Now, can you guess how much pain gets into our hearts when most Christians criticize our Buddha and Teachings, telling that it only leads to hell and suffering. Buddha only wants you to see happy, not suffering. That's why He preached the way out of suffering. Christians should try to understand people from other faiths more as humans rather than satan followers through the same equal eyes of loving kindness for everyone

This is true for every Abrahmic religion. Their followers treat people of other faiths as misguided, Satan worshippers and sub humans who deserve hell.

were you still christian before this. because it tells us not to do spiritaul things or idol worship like chanting to buddah. if you open your mind and do theese spirual things than it is considered demonic. and i dont even count my self as a christian. its also a way of life. having a relationship with jesus is more important.

I was in Nepal last year for a hiking trip. We had an extra day after the hike so we went to an old palace in Katmandu. That palace is now a museum. It has a detail history about Buddha and his teaching. There is a note on one of the exhibits that says "Buddha never claims to be God". I am a muslim and I believe that Buddha is a messenger from Allah to the people of South Asia. Allah sends prophet Buddha to correct the teaching of Hindu people of South Asia, just like Allah sends prophet Jesus to correct the teaching of the Jews. Muslims in general don't believe that Buddha is a prophet. But I seriously think that he is.
In Islam, going for Hajj we did bald our head, and the way that the monks prays and routinity, well, most of them are the same with moeslem. Islam is the complete guide to heaven/jannah
