I wanted to show you how I set up my bullet journal for september, so I hope you'll enjoy the video!
I took a bit of a break from bullet journaling, because I wasn't really happy with the way I was creating my spreads anymore, so I decided to switch things up and go for a more minimalistic approach, so that I will actually use my bullet journal again ✍🏼
I enjoyed the process so much more, so maybe if you can relate to this feeling, try something new! 🥰

Here's what I used in this video:
- Archer and Olive dotted notebook floral sunset
- Tombow Dual brushpens nr. 312 holly green and nr. 850 flesh
- Zebra Mildliner in mild red
- Tombow Fudenosuke callygraphy pen hard tip
- Muji gelpen in 0.5 - Jak na to + styl

I really needed this video and I didn't even know it. Thank you so much for sharing, I think we can all relate to feeling burnout from trying to make our journals as aesthetic as possible. Its hard to strike a balance. I just burnt myself out with an elaborate art deco theme I was so excited for but quickly lost patience with. This video was really inspiring! I think I might use this setup but with some simple pumpkins instead in October :)

I totally feel you and I'm glad you share your rant. For me, the struggle is to film the setups - I don't always feel like filming or sometimes start drawing and get so into it I completely forget I wanted to film it... And I do want to film them cause it makes me feel a bit more included in the community, it's weird, I know. But all this is to say that I'm happy you are back and that you should do you, and that this setup is as gorgeous as ever!
Yes!! I have the exact same struggle, I'm glad you could relate! I just have to remember it's okay to take a break from filming, even if I just post once a month because sometimes it's just not the right thing for you

I love your video. I love your minimalistic approach that is still beautifully doodle! It feels atainable to me as a non artist too. 💗 this may be my perfectionist brain, but i wonder how you'd lay out a weekly spread page when the 1st of the month falls on a tuesday or weds? How would you fill the space on the page where the days would've been? Id be really curious to see a video on that! Thanks for doing rhis video and so glad that youve not given up journalling... but only changed the way you approach it for better time use. Its been my problem too. I can so relate and your approach is giving me hope i can also create pretty spreads without it taking forever! 😍

So I either include the last few days of August in September or the first few days of September in August if that makes sense 😅 I hope this helps, and thank you again for your kindness and support, it really means a lot 🧡

Thanks for sharing your not consistent. I’m still afraid to start coz I’m still not sure I can be consistent.
I was super hesitant to start too, I think it's important to remember that you don't have to be consistent :) bullet journaling should just be a way for you to be more productive but if the system doesn't work for you, that's okay too. You can always change things up or just stop if it's not the right thing for you ☺️
i aspire to be this adorable and minimal but my brain just doesn't compute this. do you have pointers on how to train oneself to simplify?
Aww that's so sweet thank you!! I really have to force myself to not do too much 😅 I think limiting the color palette really helps and maybe also thinking of one easy doodle or something that you can just repeat to keep things simpler ☺️ I really hope this helps!! 🥰
