I remember this type of wallet, when I was much younger which means I am almost 70. Just love watching you make all your cards and 3D items I am in the US in Florida. You are amazing. Thank you so much for your videos just think they are the greatest.
Many thanks for your very kind words, Carol. They are very much appreciated.xx
How clever! Grandkids would love this
Many thanks, Sue. That's for sure! xx
My wonderful dad had a wallet like this. As a kid I found it so magical it amazed me for hours
They amaze me too! After I'd made my first one I had to close it and then pull the two sides away from each other so I could see how it works! So simple but so clever! xx
Superb! We were mesmerized by magic wallets wen we were kids. Ive made a variation of this card a few times in the past... but, as ever, you have simplified/enhanced/v v neatly given us an easy-to-follow-video. Thank you Jan. X
Many thanks for your very kind words, Linda. Enjoy. xx
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jan!! I have been wanting to make a magic wallet for years, but couldn't find good instructions. I am thrilled with this.
I'm so pleased, Jean! Please enjoy making this project! xx
Hi Jan Had to find something "think outside the box" that was the wish of my soon-to-be 15-year-old granddaughter for her birthday she is going to love it. Thank you for your clear instructions yet again. I have also made the pull-up card for her as well. Thanks again
Jan your cards are beautiful. I found that you are super talented. Please keep making your awesome cards. I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Many thanks for your very kind words, Lisa. xx
When I get home from seeing our new grandbaby, I will definitely be making some of these cards . I had brought my husband a real wallet like this about 15 years ago. So it was nice to see the paper version.
Many thanks for sharing photographs of your new grandbaby, Deborah. She is truly beautiful! God bless her and keep her safe always. 💖xx
Greetings from Wisconsin! The card is brilliant and so are you! Many thanks for all your hard work! You are lovely!
Many thanks, Jami. I appreciate your very kind words. xx

Another lovely make from you not sure if I will be doing this one but it did bring back memories of my father having a wallet with this mechanism inside
Many thanks, Daryl. I'm sure if you give it a go you'll be glad you did! xx
This amazes me! I give you accolades for figuring out how to make this card. Lovely! I think I will give it a shot,
Many thanks, Lori. You'll be pleased that you did! xx
Jan ~ this is Brilliant! Your instructions are always "spot on"! Thank you so much. xo
Many thanks, Donna. xx
This brings back memories Jan. I gave them a few years ago as Xmas presents. I put a £5 note folded up in one side and £10 in the other. Wish I had been able to use a stamparatus when I made them! I totally agree about the sticky stuff remover, mine is used frequently lol.
I also added a you tube video link on back page for them to watch a video showing then how to use it.
Had no problem with them sliding about and recipients thought they were great fun.
Tfs Jan, enjoyed watching ... yours look much more professional and nicer than the ones I made x
Many thanks for your kind words, Craftaholic. They are very much appreciated. xx
I made a few of these a couple of years ago, and found one left over. I decided to make some more this year for a craft fair, but could not remember how they go together. I'm glad I found your video, because your cards look nicer than the ones I made. I'm going to follow your instructions this year! I am still fascinated by how the card changes sides!
Thank you Jan, I love it, I’ll be making those for my grandchildren.
Many thanks, Garnet. Your grandchildren will love them! Enjoy! xx
@@janbcards love it

I just made a couple of these. They are so clever and great fun to make!
Many thanks, Ruth. I'm pleased you enjoyed this project! xx
Thanks for your hard work to create your videos. I used my speed all roller to secure pieces together
Rollers come in handy for all sorts of things, don't they? I just didn't think about them this time! xx
Thank you for this tutorial! I love my card! I keep flipping it and flipping it lol. Brilliant!
These would be great for gifts for grandchildren. They are lovely.
Absolutely! It'll keep them amused for ages! xx
The Word Peace was perfect to go above the Dove. I love this, Thank you so kindly for sharing and Hugs from afar. 🤗💜
Many thanks, Dawnea. It's amazing what a difference Peace made to the finished wallet! xx
Another wonderful card Jan, thanks for sharing! Happy New Year and all the best in 2021! 🎉🇺🇸
Thank you, Cheryl! You too! xx
Oh wow I just love this wallet, this takes me back to when I was young and my Grandad had a leather wallet just like this with elastic inside and we would be fascinated trying to figure out where the note had gone. But how brilliant to see your video and learn how to do this as I haven't seen any cards like this before so I was blown away by this. I think I will have to work alongside your video until I get the ribbon bits right, although I like to do that anyway as you are what I call a proper demonstrator and take plenty of time to do your glue etc and we can have plenty of time to do our work too without keep pausing to catch up.
Thanks Jan for sharing this with us and much appreciated . Have a wonderful Sunday and you all stay safe. x 👍😎👏👋🌈
Many thanks, Helen Jane. I made sure I did all my little drawings to keep me on track! When I'm learning something, I find it difficult if an instructor (any subject) says "and then you do this by doing this" and then says "no, sorry that's wrong!" and then goes on to explain the right way! At some later stage I think "what way was the correct way?" 🤔🤔🤔! xx
I so know what you mean, I am glad you had all your drawings as you explained brilliantly as always. Enjoy your evening x 😘
I never could work these out as a child - kept me quiet for hours LOL
They are brilliant! xx
Love this I cannot wait to have a go lol Your are a very talented lady Jan. Will be following you from now on .Thanks for your time and sharing.
Many thanks, Diana. I'm so pleased to have you following me! 👍🏻 xx
Oh I love this, thank you for sharing XX 🥰🌈💖
Many thanks, Crafty Mamar. xx
Amazing Jan I'll give it ago.
Many thanks, Bekka. Enjoy! xx
Hi from across the pond l love this wallet thank you for sharing it
Many thanks, Linda. xx
Love it and I made one while watching a second time. Thankyou for the inspiration. Love your videos.
Many thanks for your support, Linda. xx
Awesome I am going to make them for sure thank you for sharing!
Many thanks, Linda. I'm so pleased you like them. Enjoy! xx
I really love this Jan. Thanks. Why weren’t you using your new cut and emboss machine by the way?
Many thanks, Janet. There's a problem with some of the Magnetic Cutting Plates - although they work brilliantly, they warp terribly. Stampin' Up! are investigating what's causing the problem. In the meantime, I'm so used to working with a Magnetic Platform and we've been advised not to use the Sizzix Magnetic Plate in the Cut & Emboss I've gone back to my Big Shot for the time being! xx
Very cool
I'll have to make one for grandson
Ty
Many thanks, Vaye. xx
Absolutely love this!
I got one of these together but found some issues with my cutting...
Your directions made it very easy to assemble.... I used Star wars paper for my grandson.
Ooh!! I bet he loved it! xx
Don't know if they have it in UK, but in the US we have Glad press and seal, it would work great to press it on to turn project over. Just thought I'd share that. Love this, it will be great for Xmas this year, don't plan on going Xmas shopping, everyone is getting gift cards.
Many thanks, Kelly. No we don't but I did buy some online although I haven't used it yet! I think most people will be getting gift cards for Christmas this year - just need to make sure they can be spent online!
@@janbcards If you make a bunch it's a good time to use it, Got one made this afternoon. And you can use a piece of that wrap over and over. Planning on getting a couple made tomorrow, got it off. Like to get my paper crafting all done by Thanksgiving, so I can get my crafts cleaned up for holidays.
@@kellylynn6831 Many thanks for sharing, Kelly. xx
I really like how you explained how to make this “Magical” card! I’m still amazed at how the card goes from the straight spot to the “x” spot! It literally boggles my mind! I haven’t figured it out yet! Lol
Many thanks, Teri. I'm like you, I can't understand how it works! LOL! xx
I love this. I'm going to make a Halloween card. TFS
Many thanks, Marty. Enjoy! xx
In America, we use an A2 card size which measures 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" (5.5 x 4.25)..No worries, though, because we can adjust your sizes to fit ours.
Hi, Donna. Yes, but for this card I used the Stampin' Up! note cards which are the same in all the Stampin' Up! markets which is 3.5" x 5". Take care and stay safe. xx
Awesome cards
Many thanks, Debra. xx
You come up with some of the most incredible ideas. I love love LOVE this!. Who doesn’t give gift cards for birthdays and Christmas? I’ll be making a bunch of these! Thanks for sharing your talents. 🙂
Many thanks, Jill. Absolutely! And I bet even more people will be giving gift cards this year! xx
Hi Jan. Another Sunday WOW have not seen a demo for this so will be following step by step. Thank you for sharing loves and hugs xx P.S. what is the dear/stag paper please. Thank you xxxx
Aww bless you Wendy. The reindeer DSP is in the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley. The Christmas tree DSP on the outside is from the same set as well, and so are the reindeer and tree stickers on the Whisper White cardstock ovals too. xx
So amazing. Great instructions! I hope to make some for my grandsons - they'll get a kick out of it! T.Y. from the USA - Michigan
Many thanks, Susan. It will probably keep them amused for ages! Enjoy! xx

If you don't mind, I am thinking of using this as one of my Christmas in July projects but I would link this video for the wonderful tutorial.
Please be my guest, Tammy. Enjoy re-creating this project. xx
Het is me gelukt om een mail te versturen en wacht op antwoord heel erg bedankt gr. chris
Graag gedaan, Chris. Ik ben altijd blij om te helpen. xx
COOL🤗
Many thanks, Anne. xx
I just check the US Stamping Up catalog and the note card measurements are the same.
Many thanks for confirming that, Linda, I really appreciate it. xxx
Putting a glue dot (or two) on the back of the gift card should prevent it from slipping out. This is such a clever design! Thanks for sharing.
Many thanks, Cass. I did consider a Glue Dot but I was concerned that it might tear the top layer when it was pulled out or that the Glue Dot might get left behind when the gift card was removed and then glued the insides together when closed! xx
Where is deer DSP from?
Hi, Debra. It's from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley (150705 - £65). This Medley is available as a refill (151270 - £24) which contains all the paper products and the stars but not the stamp set, dies, glitter twine. See page 7 in Mini Catalogue. xx
