What’s the Godzilla vs. Kong movie about?
During the five years following his victory against King Ghidorah, Godzilla has maintained peace between humans and titans. One day however, he seems to turn against humanity, destroying everything on his path.
Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown) convinces her friend Josh (Julian Dennison) to help her investigate the real causes of Godzilla's attacks.
At the same time, Nathan Lind (Alexander Skarsgård), former scientist and Hollow Earth theorist, is recruited to lead an expedition into the Hollow Earth, the homeworld of the Titans.
As humanity is threatened, a last resort is found by Monarch, the secret organization monitoring titans activity. They decide to use Kong, the only titan who’s not obeying Godzilla. Mainly motivated by his will to protect Jia, a little girl he’s attached to, Kong will engage in a legendary fight against the king of monsters, with the world’s fate at stake.

Captain America = Kong uses kind of round thing as a Shield which similar way to Cap's Vibranium Shield; to protect himself from Godzilla's Atomic Breath.
Thor = He has Battle Axe which similar to Thor's Stormbreaker. He also gone for the head similar like Thor while using Stormbreaker against Thanos.
Thanos = In Godzilla x Kong The New Empire, Kong using B.E.A.S.T gauntlet on his right hand. Unlike Thanos Gauntlet or Nano Gauntlet, it doesn't have Infinity Stones.

Kong is certainly more agile and probably more intelligent (given his cranial capacity) than the average Titan. Strength-wise he’s probably only slightly below Godzilla, depending on the circumstances. Plus, he has actual hands, which is a big plus.

This was a great fight scene. Godzilla and Kong really show their fighting styles and strengths and it wasn't completely one sided. Godzilla relies on brute strength atomic breath and his reptile traits while Kong uses his speed agility smarts and dexterity. I love how Kong double kick Godzilla. The 2nd round went in Kong's favor.

When I saw that scene in the trailer, I fought that it was going to reveal half of Godzilla's face missing and exposing the robot underneath the skin. Like Fake Godzilla from the Showa era.

But I think I have a possible answer- Kong's purpose wasn't to kill Godzilla in this battle since he wasn't after the crown. He simply wanted to get back at him for destroying the throne room and he got what he wanted when he won the 2nd round. And since Hong Kong is huge he was still looking for the axe when Godzilla woke up
The axe ran out of charge after the hit, and got lost between some random buildings. Kong didn't really have a way to kill him.
@@michaelc.8712 this! Kong knew that axe was the only way to kill big G. When that axe went flying b/c of the overload he wisely figured Godzilla ( the powerhouse he is) would get back up shortly, so his only bet would be to climb a building for a better "sniping" point if you will

So because the axe requires radiation to effectively strike with sufficient force it could also be used as a self absorb shield against Godzilla's atomic breath while charging the axe would be added as a bonus.

Godzilla got angry when kong hit him with his own species dorsal plate axe. And the director already said Godzilla was toying Kong the whole time until round 3 when he got hit by the axe
@@NoobGamerBoy07The director also said that his commentary isn't canon, so that just isn't true. Which is a good thing. Fans waited decade after decade to see the world's two most famous monsters clash on screen once more. It would be an absolutely terrible decision to waste that by having one of the monsters so overpowered that he doesn't even need to try. That would just be bad, anti-climatic, tensionless movie making.
Fortunately, you can clearly see by simply watching the movie that both monsters are actually fairly evenly matched, with the edge going to Godzilla. The people who made this movie clearly wanted to please both fanbases by making BOTH monsters put up a great fight and give each other a run for their money with vastly different strengths and fighting skills, with one ultimately gaining the upper-hand and winning whilst still showing the loser as a formidable and respectable opponent. And that's how it should be.

This was a Dream Come true for me I Only wish godzilla 2014 and Godzilla king of monsters had this kind of well lighted environment and fight choreography.This movie gets Better everytime i watched it and previous two gets worse.Thank you Adam Wingard 🙏🙌☺️

This had to be my favorite movie of the year(Even over Halloween Kills and Venom 2. Although unlike these 2, I saw no flaws at all in GvK.) I may have been Team Kong but I love both monsters equally and it really showed all of their best strengths and weaknesses. Kong uses his agility, strength, and intelligence to his advantage and Big G just does what he does best which is his atomic breath, aquatic dominance, and used his titanic strength and durability to outlast Kong. But I also have to say I didn't expect Kong to win either due to the age between the two of them. Kong and Godzilla in the monsterverse are like a kid and an experienced elder. Godzilla is much much older than Kong, and likely been at it way longer. I merely expected Kong to put up a good fight, and damn if he didn't do so. It wasn't one sided but after this scene Godzilla was like "Alright look here you little shit" and really put the peddle to the metal. Even when Kong was down, he was defiant. The biggest treat however was getting to see what they could do when they work together.
You know the director of this movie is a Godzilla fanboy b*tch right?
That clean strike with that Axe should have cut Godzilla in half.
That Axe was made to hunt Godzilla species and even larger more dangerous foes.
Just look at the skeleton it was taken off of the size of that skeleton is like three times the size of Godzilla.
2021 was a pretty cool year for movies. Started with Kong vs Zilla. Ended with seeing all 3 Spiderman.
Its cool seeing Kongs agility and speed in action!

I enjoyed the movie overall although if you ask for my personal opinion, the movie had us going for King Kong. He had human backup, a powerful Weapon forged by his Kind, until he basically got tossed around like a rag doll.
To be fair godzilla has fought kongs kind before and knows they aren't immune to it and are actually really weak to it (hence the spam that he didn't do with ghidorah or the mutos) and the reason he went savage is that he actually lost to a kong when he was younger so he was on a vengeance rage here

Godzilla according to the novelization participated in the titan war and even was defeated by another titanus Kong, so he has good background and knows what to expect. King Kong on the other hand is the master of only skull island and he's incredibly strong. The problem is he never fought titans before except camazotz so it's his first time (and it is a rushed one). However he did well even if he couldn't fully win.

The axe couldn't even hurt mechagodzilla and godzilla is more durable than him so there wasn't anything he could do
Since the director commentary on how Godzilla was in the battles didn't suit with the dominion graphic novel and the novelization that describe he has personal grudge, I'm not taking his words seriously. Only 2 rational things came out of his mouth- Godzilla was extremely exhausted after drilling to hollow earth and fight king Kong, and that there were 3 rounds between them
@@asafakiva1619 well Adam is basically equivalent to the novelizations. You take what sounds plausible and actually lines up with the film and take that as fact but anything that contradicts the film can be seen as false. In this case Adam saying the following can be seen as legitimate
1. Godzilla was trying with kong in round 1 only but took kong seriously when the axe became involved
2. Godzilla being tired when fighting mechagodzilla and things would of been different if godzilla wasn't tired
3. There being 3 rounds instead of only 2
4. Godzilla won the fight kong won the movie
5. Godzilla's ego became bruised after round 2 ended

I loved this movie, but I feel like Kong needs another movie. It would be nice seeing him beating up other Titans such as Warbat. Godzilla on the other hand I don’t think he needs another film any time soon. Godzilla was the titan who had the most movies for these last 67 years. Kong: Hollow Earth would be a great title.
