- I have breakfast and then check out of my hotel before heading to downtown New Haven, CT. Most of my day is spent exploring the beautiful campus of Yale University. Not only is the Ivy League college one of the best schools in the country, it has a number of notable restaurants and attractions around it. I walk through the historic Grove Street Cemetery and then head to Louis’ Lunch, which lays claim to having invented the hamburger. Next, I walk around Yale a bit more before getting coffee from Blue State Coffee. Finally, I get pizza at one of the best pizza restaurants, Sally’s Apizza, before heading to New Haven Union Station to take a train back to New York City.

About Me:
I live in NYC and I’m about food, travel and work.
Yale looks like a fancy European university! Even the cemetery blends well with the surroundings and makes the atmosphere more elegant..
Exactly! It's one of the most beautiful college campuses I've ever been to.
@@Jamesnu just don’t leave it or you’ll see democrat 3rd world hellhole.
my hometown
@@kbkesq Facts i was bout to say go 2 blocks down to the green 🤣🤣🤣
A visit to the Yale University Arts Gallery is a must for any trip to New Haven. If you like art and history then this is the place to visit. Great exploration of the campus, well done and keep the video’s coming!
Thank you so much! Yeah, that's a place I really wanted to visit, but hopefully next time I can check it out.
James, I love how you truly enjoy every bite and every sip of the foods and beverages you try. I can tell that you are in the moment and paying attention to the flavor and savoring everything. Also I can tell how observant you are when exploring. You always show little details that most people would miss. I tend to do the same thing so I really appreciate your attention to detail. Great content.
Thank you so much! That makes me very happy to hear! Yeah, I definitely enjoy food and the little things when checking out any new area.
Great video again. Keep them coming. Hi from Plymouth UK
Absolutely! Thank you so much for watching!
That blueberry pie looked incredible!
It was amazing!
If you get back to New Haven you should check out the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History. It's top notch.
Definitely! It's a place I wanted to go to, but it wasn't open during the days I visited. Next time though!
New Haven downtown is so amazing, historical, awesome. I was living there for a couple of years ❤️❤❤ really its lovely town. Yale University looks like Harry Potter Castle 🤩🤩🤩 when I walked inside Yale campus. I feel myself I am walking inside the history 😅😅... it was a beautiful time ❤❤ I wishing if I can visit it again. My love state CT ❤ New Haven
Absolutely! It's a beautiful city and Yale has an amazing campus!
I grew up in New Haven and as an adult I've come to realise not just how lucky I was In general. But east rock is a top ten neighborhood in the world as far as I'm concerned. And we have the best Apizza in the world. I would say also great burgers but since the yankee doodle closed. Burgers just aren't the same....
I was very impressed with New Haven! And yes, it has amazing pizza, but a great food scene in general. I definitely want to return someday.
IDK bout that. I lived in East Rock by state street and before i moved, a teenager was killed at the corner of my street then the next day like 4 people got shot. Then 1 day we came outside and everybody's car got broken into except me and my girlfriends.
I'm from the area and I love Sally's, definitely better then Pepe's to me. You gotta come back and do modern and bar pizza as well.
Definitely! There's only so much pizza I can eat on one trip and I really enjoyed Pepe's and Sally's. Next time!
Cool video. This blueberry pie lookaed amazing.Nice city.Younhave visited the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History.Thank you for a beautiful video from Chicago, Illinois
Thank you! Yeah, I'll definitely go to that museum next time!
Dude, the way walk!!
Haha! Thanks!
James skull and bones tomb is on high street. Right next to the bridge. But don't push your luck security cameras at the door.
New Haven seems like a beautiful, easy-going town.
It's a great city!
New Haven actually has other colleges besides Yale! They include Connecticut State Community College Gateway, Quinnipiac University, Southern Connecticut State University, and University Of New Haven! UNH is actually considering moving to D1 sports!
Nice! Yeah, I really only got to experience a small part of the city.
Muffins can be very filling
Indeed!
So nice
Thank you!
I was thinking of Harry Potter too! :D
Yale definitely has Harry Potter vibes!
Damn you missed out on some really important architecture! next time your in New Haven I'd love to give you a free tour.
Thank you! Yeah, it was my first time and it was tough to see everything, but my main priority probably was pizza.
@@Jamesnu good call! New Haven has too much to cover in one video, keep up the good work!
@@Myfamilythinksimcrazy Thank you!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for pronouncing New Haven correctly, with the accent on the second syllable.
Thanks for watching!
@@Jamesnu City of my birth! I had to!
How much was that burger on toast?
I can't remember the exact price, but I do recall it being pretty cheap. It was probably at least under ten dollars.
Hey man I saw a few of your videos and you happen to live in nyc. We have around the same amount of subs so if you ever want to collab let me know!
Thanks for watching! Yeah, maybe sometime in the future.
@@Jamesnu yeah the first video of yours I saw was the Long Beach one, I went about a month ago and just released my video on going.
@@LilMao I saw that. I enjoyed Long Beach!
London broil...
You’re so pretty
Haha! Thank you!!!
@@Jamesnu I’m in New York and can’t decide if I should go to New Haven, Boston or Washington for a day trip. It’s freezing cold everywhere 🥶🥶🥶
@@StefanWyattMusic I know what you mean! It's freezing out there! I'm sure you'll have a good time in any of the cities. New Haven is the closest and probably the easiest to do for a day trip, but DC has a lot of incredible spots and a lot of good museums to get away from the cold. I haven't been to Boston yet, but I'm sure it's a great place! Whatever you decide, I hope you enjoy it!
Needs more footage of the place and less footage of your face.
Did you protest the vaccine mandate at Yale or just let them insist on experimental meds for young people who have zero risk? What sort of critical thinking skills did you and your professors demonstrate?
Nice video! Amazing campus. Thank you for sharing! Let's be CZcams friends 😊
Thanks! Yeah, I checked out your Yale video as well. Great job! It was very informative!
@@Jamesnu thank you for waiting!
