In part 3 I begin the installation of the electronics. It's far from finished, but the main components are in place and it is all confirmed and committed as to where the components will be situated inside the guitar.
I decided to swap the position of the TBX and boost controls. The original layout has the TBX as the middle knob and the boost on the bottom "tone" control. However I found that everything fits much more cleanly and easily with all the wires in the cavity if they are swapped around and intuitively I think I prefer this layout:
Now the controls are: VOLUME, BOOST & TONE instead of VOLUME, TONE, BOOST.
The goal is to take this as close to a real Eric Clapton signature Stratocaster as possible at a fraction of the cost of the real-deal Fender model.
This video is talking only, no sound demos... Yet!

Thanks bro'. The first one does have lyrics, but they were unfinished and I never got round to finishing them after about 9 years! The second track has already been released with vocals back in 2017 called "Bluff Hand".

i think the intonation won't be right or the tuning stability will be less the way you put the battery or else convert it to hard tail bridge

@@AaronJohnProduction Thanks for the comment. I won't be using the whammy bar. The bridge is blocked from moving and the scale length of the guitar remains the same, so intonation is unaffected.

The rear cavity is just asking to be used, seeing as it is already there and easy to access from the back.
