- In the murky port city of Onyxwall, there are whispers of a horrible man rotting in the city jailhouse. A vile mage who practiced an unholy and as-of-yet-unknown school of magic. Necromancy. Vilified and demonized by one and all, this abuser of corpses and raiser of the dead shall never walk free again. As is only fair for one so heinous.
But for a young man named Wallace, the word 'Necromancer' means nothing. When he learns that the Necromancer enjoys the benefits of a barred window to the outside world, his curiosity gets the better of him...

As with the last few Pale Ring Short Stories I've put out, I would appreciate it if y'all could take the time to feed the algorhithm a bit. Liking, commenting, sharing it around, and all that other assorted jazz.
