I'm so amazed how Boomer stays there with you at all times. Most dog's hear things around them. Usually they go investigate. But Boomer only keeps focusing on you and what you're doing. He is a good dog plus fantastic camping companion.

@@margaret4870 Our pitty is AFRAID of thunder. However, my chihuahua is unbothered. Go figure. 🤷🏻♀️ And Boomer needs his own blanket to burrow under to stay warm.
@@lenniewatson687 - Odd how that can be, one dog being frightened by it and others, couldn't care less. I once had a Lab who couldn't care less, until it reached age 6, and then, for no reason I can think of, thunder, fireworks and gunshots, scared the hell out of her.
I did nothing to train her to accept, nor to be afraid of loud noises. I never could figure that out.
Boomer knows where it is warm and dry!
The sounds of the rain on the tent plus the thunderstorm in the background is so soothing in the ears watching this video.

gonna have to disagree - nothing like the silence after a good old snowfall - the kind of snow that’s really dry - so maybe minus fifteen minus twenty degrees - a snow so dry that it crunches as you walk - not from ice but from the snow itself - those are my favourite winter sounds - as a child in the sixties they were the norm even in south western Ontario pretty much a memory now 🇨🇦 really like this tent configuration with the vestibule for the stove and the awning down the length not at the end of the tent - seems Boomer likes it too 🇨🇦🙏
The sound of rain is so peaceful. It reminded me of when I used to sleep under the eaves in an upstairs bedroom. Had the head of my bed at the most narrow height of the room closest to the roof. Ty for sharing.
I have that same tent. We were camping out in ocotillo wells a couple weeks ago and went through basically a monsoon rain storm. It stormed super super violent with terrible winds and flooded our camp site basically up to the bottom of our ankles. My tent stayed dried and no leaks what so ever. I was honestly scared to look inside but it was completely fine besides all the mud that was on my soaked feet lol. Fire up my stove and dried all my clothes off and had a comfy sleep. The new version of the tent is legit and will withstand some gnarly winds and rains.

I just got this tent as well but the tan color. Good to hear that it'll withstand a storm. I camped in ocotillo wells earlier this year and went through an insane wind storm. At the time I was using the Teton sports Vista 1 with the cot and it held up beautifully. Plan on taking the stovehut out to some hot springs in Nevada the next few months. I cannot wait.

I’ve been watching Lonewolf 902 a little over a year now. Somewhere online I applied for and received a badass tent. I have yet to figure out how to put the tent together nor have I ever been camping. My point is, I love Lonewolf’s videos so much my attempt is to give it a try. And because I was inspired by seeing his beautiful kids camp with him in a video. If they can do it…… 😁.

Gotta love the rain while camping. To be honest I do some of my best sleeping when it’s raining while out in the field. Always enjoy your content. Huge fan and have learn a lot about hot tent camping from watching your videos when you use a hot tent. Keep the content coming.

Boomer in the storm was so scared that he couldn't sleep... Fortunately, there are human companions to accompany him. Although you often camps when it rains, the scenery is different every time. This time is an interesting rainy day camping~
