For a beginner, this pedal is an absolute banger.
As an Amazon sale price of $25 this was a no-brainer. Fairly new to playing with any pedals, and this seemed like a fairly cheap way of trying out different pedal types and whether I’d like the effects of particular types, before shelling out maybe $100 only to find out I didn’t enjoy a sound. I didn’t expect much with such a low priced pedal, but I’ve got to admit - this was well worth it. Learned a lot.
For instance... A friend had suggested I try a trem pedal & likely would’ve paid $110 for the one I looked at. Turns out I’m not a teal fan of the trem effect. Trem bar - absolutely, just not the trem pedal effect. That near-miss more than paid off rather than my buying & then trying to sell it on to recoup any money.
If you’re curious and can afford probably less than $50 (that’s the highest I’ve seen this mod pedal listed anywhere) try it out.
Just my opinion. Hard to know what you’ll like & this modulation pedal was a pretty affordable sampling of sounds.

look at his face at 3:53 sounds like on the rotary it won't change speeds with speed control maxed still chorale slow. wonder if it's just the demo one if they are all like this?
After grabbing the Harmonic Square, I'm impressed enough to want to try more. This could be the next one, even though the mode I'd use most (tremolo) I already have a pedal for. It seems to do enough other things well that it's worth the negligible cost. The rotary setting is disappointing, as I like what it does but it doesn't go fast enough. The rest sound fine, and with three knobs there's lots of room to fine tune. Liking your demos. Quick and to the point but also thorough, with playing that's in the realm of what the pedal tries to do usually.

i have this pedal the phaser and flanger are terrible but it introduced me to vibe and therefore I love it
As you can hear now it's a whole lot slower😆. I didn't know that with the volume turned off and CC turned on 😂 . Love ur videos shane!

Is it the sound from Program or From your Camera ?
Flanger needs a regen or feedback control to get all those cool swooshy sounds. Chorus B sounded good, though, and I liked the rotary effect. Still I won't be binning my Phase 90, Micro Flanger, Corona or Analog chorus and running out and buy one. It won't replace the tremolo on my Fender or Vox amps, either,lol. Not bad for a compact all in one solution, and would likely work nice for a live setup= provided you don't need something more specific or a lot of flexibility within the fx.
I like these pedals but this one sounds broken up (might just be the recording) also I like flanger to be able to go full jet and phaser to sound a little more wah and they seem to be very similar here
My thoughts exactly. They don't sound horrible but I feel the sonics all hover around the same midpoint and the dials don't allow for you to push the effects into the crazy upper regions.

Chorus B, flanger and tremolo are the stronger effects out of the modes
Is it perfect? That's a silly question for any budget pedal but a little eq/boost going in will make the effects pop.

I bought this pedal and it didnt work when it arrived. It was packed fine but the power supply jack was floppy. I opened it and realized it wasnt attached at all. I would love to say this was a one time error but this is the second donner pedal I have purchased ( and last ever) that was defective when it arrived. Note, I bought from 2 different sellers so it isnt a seller issue . Thankfully I got a full refund and based on the speed in which it was offered I assume they get returns on Donners a lot.

Not a bad pedal as long as its under 100.00 bucks. I dont think ive ever heard a vibrato pedal effect sound good ever.

Snooze00 that's weird. I like trem, and not only don't like vibe pedals...I don't understand them. Bought the digitech vibe when it was $5 online through their site...collecting dust.
I'll put this in my wish list.
I find the Sonicake 5th Dimension to be a better overall than this one, and worth the slight price difference.
Hey shane I've been having problems getting notified about your videos. Ive got the bell thing on so i dont know. I wanna see your vids so is it something on my end or yours that needs to be fixed.
It's CZcams most likely. Everything I do is like every other channel on CZcams. All I can suggest is maybe unclick the bell and click it again and make sure you hit notifications again and it might kick back in. There's always bugs in the system. Cheers mate. :-)

LRProductions I own the donner tremolo and chorus and this pedal does them pretty darn well. It's a great deal for the price and you aren't compromising control.

Phaser, rotary and possibly flange sucked. Otherwise good.

.Normally your vids are top notch but I cant get any idea of rotary or vibrato or flanger by what you were playing there ...
I think you need to do this pedal again in a longer video ....take your time and show us the effects properly...
Like I said yr videos are usually great but due to the different modes on this it needs a longer video because if I was to make my mind up off this I'd say no but I dont think you are doing the pedal any justice tbh

Great demo but the pedal isn't great for more than a quick fix. Some effects sound good but some, not so much

These 7 in one pedals always sounds like crap.
This sort of pedal is a bit of a weird one. There's plenty of normal dirt and delay pedals that have multiple effects and they are fine. These weird pedals only appeal to the right person. I don't think you and I are that person. lol
@@intheblues someone in the comments said it right, for beginners these petals are great. I have been playing 32 years 😋
