Looking good, also I didn't noticed that you were also using the A7III. I used the XT-3 in the past and the autofocus is indeed as you mentioned.

Wow, can’t believe it was so crisp, fuji is not bad.
No point beating a dead horse, u gotta do what’s best for your clients, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Fuji fix all those AF & other issues with future firmware updates, that’s probably the only good thing with Fuji they do listen and usually act.

I used to be optimistic about the firmware thing. But I feel it's beyond what the firmware can do.
@@stonec8238 Do you really think so? :( I strongly hope they can improve the AF and also introduce Af tracking. I am so stuck between the XT4 and A7c, just can't decide. What I don't like about the Sony are the low mbps options and awful 1080p quality in 60fps since it does not have beautidful 4k 60 like the Fuji
@@kevinsturm5306 x-t4 has af tracking. It depends on how much you want to focus on video. Xt4 has good auto focus in video, but Sony is more reliable. I take causal videos, so if something isn't right, I can just re-take it.

Great video as always, I love the colors in the XT4 but you marched it so well with the A7III! That makes me think that I might end up going for the new A7c or whatever else the announce next week

I really preferred the XT4 clips .. much more dynamic range, I felt like. Maybe it was the editing.
The Fuji Xt4 10bit and FLOG definitely helps it in the dynamic range department over the a7iii
My plan is to get the Sony A7S iii as my A cam on gimbal and Fuji XT4 for my handheld/backup Camera.

The real question is how many shots did you miss with the Fuji because it was out of focus?
Little difficult to spend the money when most clients are unwilling to shoot now.

I always wanted to have fujixt4. It has almost everything i need, but if autofocus is a deal breaker, then i might wait to earn more money for Sony. ,,,or wait for xt5???😅
Did you use the X-T4 on a gimble for the clip at 1:03 ? This is super smooth and it appears that you were moving quickly to achieve that slide. I've noticed *LOTS* of Fuji footage with kind of herky jerky IBIS in video.. this is much nicer looking.

Hi Fuji doesn't have a 1.8 zoom lens they only have 2.8, is a 2.8 good enough for light light wedding satiations ? or should i buy the adapter and get the same lens as yours
I just invested my saves for Fuji XT4 because i'm still unable to reach a7siii price range, and yes.. even my 4 years old sony a6000 has better auto focus.. i hope fuji will fix the issue with further firmware update.. and the jumping IBIS as well..

I’ve heard the clarity on the a7siii isn’t as good as a7iii( Jared polin video) reason being it’s not downsampled from 6k. He shows a clip with some ducks at a distance. The a7iii is clearly cleaner. I’d love to know your thoughts on this.
@@gadgetphilosophy8290 You can add sharpness in post and they will match; ultimately they are very close in terms of quality...so close that 99% of viewers will won't see the difference. The quality of your shot is the most important part!
I also filmed my first wedding this past weekend with the XT4. Everything was great but the AF. At least 4 out of 10 shots had focus issues. It's not reliable.
Wow. I turned off eye AF. And really used touch focus to a spot to be sure
@@nVuFilms Yeah, I did the same. With eye and face detect it kept bouncing all over the room. I literally started to sweat from panic. I'll give it some time still to see if Fuji fixes the issue.
I use Face select when using face detection on Fuji. You can select the face it should keep in focus and works fine for me

Hi Vu...great vid...when you are using AF on your Sony with Face Detection on, will it just track one face of Bride and Groom or will it keep switching faces...what settings keep it on one person only?
Can you set XT4 to shoot automatically at double shutter speed, like on Panasonic GH4?

Hi Vu! I hope you’re well. I just want to ask if xt4, fringer adaptor and sigma 18-35 works well interms of autofocus with kids that are running around? Can you please rate it 1-10? I only shoot to capture family memories and dont shoot professional. I would like to know if its worth to get this body instead of sony a6400/a6600.. i have currently 3 canon mount lenses such sigma 18-35, canon 50mm 1.8 and canon 10-18. Thinking of upgrading my canon 200d.. i hope you can help me. Thank you!

Not sure if or when I’ll be able to afford the a7siii. Using Sony a7iii and a7c. Think the Fuji xt4 has improved enough to use it for its better video specs?
Save up for a7siii. Buy a7siii on credit if you are making money off your work. Thank me later

A year or so later. Is there anything you miss about the Fuji system? I film weddings with Sony but was thinking about picking up an X100v. Did you get a chance to try it?
Not at all
I went to the camera store and asked the guy if they carried the DG DEEZ NUTS lens.. he threw me out the store. I don't understand why🤷🏾♂️.

why you want good af if you use adapter?..... You should use native lens

if there are multiple faces, why can't you just select a face you want using the joystick and face select function? The multiple faces are usually on a different plane so the user would have to select what you want. I don't see this as a deal breaker

Thinking of buying the xt4 but started to rethink because of the AF. Since cannot afford the AZIII, I am wondering is sony 6600 is worse or can compare, or even better that the xt4?
I'd look into the a7C $1800. You can also find a7III for $1600 new. Or buy a used one

Interesting, the Sony has a link to your brain, it knows who you want to focus on .... bride now ... groom then... even though they are at different distances? I wonder here about the authenticity of your opinion.... and the Fuji keeps shifting from one to the next but the Sony has an esp link to you...hmmmm
