    Recipe Ayam Kicap/ Soy Sauce Chicken
    Ingredients to marinate chicken
    1kg chicken
    1.5 - 2 tsp turmeric powder
    salt
    Ingredients, to chop
    10 bird's eye chilies (reduce to 3-5 if you don't prefer spicy)
    4 cloves garlic
    2 inch ginger
    2 onion
    Other ingredients
    Oil
    1 onion, sliced
    2 green chili, sliced
    1 red chili, sliced
    2 sprig curry leaves
    1 lemongrass
    2 tbsp blended chili paste
    2 tbsp dark caramel sauce
    salt
    some black pepper powder
    Method
    1. Wash and marinate chicken with turmeric and salt. Fry and keep aside.
    2. Heat pan with half cup oil. Add chopped ingredients and sauté till no raw smells.
    3. Add in lemongrass, chili blended paste and sauté till oil separate.
    4. Once oil separated, add fried chicken and dark caramel. Mix well.
    5. Add sliced onion, chilies and curry leaves. Season with salt and black pepper.
    6. Cook for 1-2 mins and off the flame.
