    Picking a ball from the jar, because the Russian guy refused to do any offensive move. You stall you get rewarded! Whoever came up with that crazy idea should not be allowed to be involved in wrestling ever again no matter who won this match.

    And this is why they had a million rule changes. What is crazy is that this is a retired Cael Sanderson.

    The Russian never attempted any offence the entire match. That is some shady wrestling. Being a wrestler means going out and taking the match not hoping the other guy will tire out or make a mistake or get a ball pick. The Russian just played the luck game

  • @annettenpaul
    @annettenpaul Před 12 lety

    Actually Cael is at the top of his game! He was indomitable at college style wrestling, then adapted his style to world freestyle and won Olympic gold in 2004. Then he took time off for full-time coaching, moved to Penn State, and is now prepping for gold medal #2. He is treated very unfairly, as are all US wrestlers, at world wrestling venues, with horrible calls and grossly biased referees. But Cael participates in order to qualify for the Olympics, which is what matters to HIM!

  • @naturalpro2003

    #1 That was one lanky Russian.
    #2 "Stalling" only exists in American Scholastic/folkstyle & Collegiate wrestling.
    #3 The referee could have called "passivity" at least twice in one of the periods.
    So, yes, it appears Sanderson got hosed.
