N.Y, State Of Mind by NAS on a Fretless Bass Uke.

Today July 2, 2024 marks the 28th anniversary of Nas's 2nd studio album It Was Written. 15 years later Kendrick Lamar dropped his debut album Section 80. It's been 30 years since NAS dropped his debut album Illmatic where this track is found. I have heard the studio version as well as a live version of this tune with an orchestra using upright bass thanks to my son Kenny so I went with the Fretless Bass Ukulele in my feeble attempt to celebrate this hip hop masterpiece.
