Nostalgia is like drugs, it makes you feel great but afterwards you... you almost realize nothing will ever be the same as that feeling. You will never feel the happiness that you just felt. It’s a hard pill to swallow. You can try to relive the simpler times but you just keep getting older, it keeps getting harder. I’m addicted to this feeling and I’ve been trying so hard to relive it but with the stress of everything... you can’t. I’ve watched countless early 2000’s songs, it works for a little but then I just go back into extreme sadness. It gets worse every video I watch. We have to continue having making memories so when these songs die out and fade away, forgotten and lost in a sea of videos. We can surely say that we’ve had a good run. But hey, at least we laughed, smiled, and were care free as we heard these songs on the radio in the backseat of your parents car. We didn’t know how stressful and terrible the world was, but we didn’t care. We could be who we wanted to be without responsibilities. Without the fear of growing older. Not a care in the world But as a very intelligent bear once said, “We didn’t realize we were making memories, we were just having fun” -Winne The Pooh
My friend this was a heartbreaking post to read. But I want to give you at least SOME inspiration that has brought light into my life. I listen to nostalgia not so much to make me feel sad that it’s gone, but rather I use it to motivate me to get BACK there. Because there was nothing special about the moment that we fell in love with this song and the moment that we attach this song to. It was just that we were extremely Present. We were absorbed in the present, and we knew the art of being present. Over time we might’ve lost that art, but nostalgia is a means to teach us that we have lost touch with our Soul and are in need of going back. It is like our Soul calling us back home. This is what I learned from my life with meditation. Pray and meditate so that you can teach your mind to be in the same state it was back then. As Jesus said, be not like the learned and proud, but rather be like a Child. Then you will enter the Kingdom of God. Cheers.
well also things have been getting worse and worse the past 20 years mostly due to Politics but yeah that makes 2011 seem like great times compared to now

@@ziionnaa this is clearly overthought :D common sense is to have a better life then because there was no coronavirus. Health makes you have a "better" life. You don't need to say how old are you man but I understand this song is such a nostalgia.
Then I hope you're having fun. Fun glands don't always die after 30. Still got mine and I'm pushing 40😜

Kids in the 2000s and early 2010s had the best childhood ever.
I can confirm, from 2003
Music is dead now compared to back then
Truth. Best years.
Not agreed. Kids in the 80s. EVER.
Any time except 2018 to present day has great song
I feel that she deserved more recognition in the music industry. Her songs are so iconic for the 2000s music
Unfortunately it’s kind of a forgotten decade
This was released in 2011, not the 2000s lol.
I feel like Max Martin (and dr. Luke) is getting exactly the amount of attention and recognition he wants from the industry :D
@@TheOutlanderReport Dr. Luke doesn’t deserve it for what he did to Kesha

What I like the most about her is the fact that she sounds exactly the same live and in the CD
Yeah! 👍

If she sounds the same live and recorded, then she's probably lip syncing

In her case is cause her voice is powerful and prodigious

Jessie J can sing cirles around Katy Perry. I always knew this was her.
Carolyn McQueen exactly she has one of the most controlled powerful voices that are full of energy, katie perry without autotune sounds awful as hell

I tought the same
@@OzzyOscy maybe just maybe it's more than your comment that we're talking about. Maybe we are talking about the song and how it's incredibly similar to the song her records company asked a songwriter to send to them. But they never paid the songwriter and he sued them.
Did you even listen to the two songs side by side in the 1:30 clip I sent?
Jessie J does not get enough credit. Her voice is amazing. She's too underrated.

"Domino"
I'm feeling sexy and free
Like glitter's raining on me
You're like a shot of pure gold
I think I'm 'bout to explode
I can taste the tension like a cloud of smoke in the air
Now I'm breathing like I'm running cause you're taking me there
Don't you know? You spin me out of control
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
We can do this all night
Damn this love is skin tight
Baby, come on
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Boom me like a bass drum
Sparkin' up a rhythm
Baby, come on!
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Rock my world until the sunlight
Make this dream the best I've ever known
Dirty dancing in the moonlight
Take me down like I'm a domino
Every second is a highlight
When we touch don't ever let me go
Dirty dancing in the moonlight
Take me down like I'm a domino
You got me losing my mind
My heart beats out of time
I'm seeing Hollywood stars
You strum me like a guitar
I can taste the tension like a cloud of smoke in the air
Now I'm breathing like I'm running cause you're taking me there
Don't you know? You spin me out of control
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
We can do this all night
Damn this love is skin tight
Baby, come on
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Boom me like a bass drum

Dirty dancing in the moonlight
Take me down like I'm a domino
Every second is a highlight
When we touch don't ever let me go
Dirty dancing in the moonlight
Take me down like I'm a domino
Ooh, baby, baby, got me feeling so right
Ooh, baby, baby, dancing in the moonlight
Ooh, baby, baby, got me feeling so right
Ooh, baby, baby, dancing in the moonlight
Ooh, baby, baby, got me feeling so right
Ooh, baby, baby, dancing in the moonlight
Ooh, baby, baby, got me feeling so right

Jessie J is such an underappreciated artist. She's had so many bangers, and nobody ever brings her up when it comes to pop.
Remember that Sex sells and she’s talented but she’s not naked on her videos so that’s why.
Jessie is great I have gotten so much shit as a guy from other guys for loving her music. Her voice her style is beautiful and from what I have seen her personality is great. What's not to like? Guys have tried to call me gay for liking her. Well if she brings out my gay side so be it.

When life was better and we weren’t in house arrest
Life was never "better" .you just were oblivious to many issues, but this one affects you and now you think before it was better.
@@ziionnaa this is clearly overthought :D common sense is to have a better life then because there was no coronavirus. Health makes you have a "better" life. Of course there are those who had a better 2020 than a 2011, but it's an overall thought. I disagree about the "arrest" word though, 'cause it's for our safety, so it's really a choice.
@@ziionnaa That makes no sense. Obviously if you don't know about the horrible things your life will be better. Also, things change. People's lives change for the worse. It doesn't matter if they knew about the bad things in the world, life can still change for the worse
@@ziionnaa yes, we should not be so egoistical going up and down appreciating the good things in our lives while bad things happens. *totally see your point.*
