I use curlformers on the regular and these are excellent tips. I use a light, moisturizing leave in like TGIN’s leave in or the Mielle pomegranate leave in and I do prefer to set mine under a dryer.
That's wonderful! I actually don't know how long my hair is, these days. I'm around armpit length now (after another cut this month, video coming soon), but I haven't measured in inches.
I just saw some curlformers in Target today. It made me think of you. 😂 Who knew that your video would be on the same thing. I finally stopped playing and went to Trader Joe’s today. Ti influenced shopping. Thanks for another awesome video. I feel like your content is getting better with each day.
Yasss givin me dusky, vampy tease with the dark makeup look! You obviously got the curl former game down to a Ti :P Remembering your first curl former vid always warms my heart because that was the first time you gave me a shout out *shed tear of friendship
I just want to say Thank You for Vlogmas! Everyday, this week, I'm excited to get this notification and then I'm sad because they have all posted during a work meeting. You put a lot of work and thought into these videos and I appreciate it. And, you are inspiring me to actually try the Curlformers I bought 3 years ago, but are currently just taking up real estate in my hair cabinet.
Thank you! Yes, I'm having all of my videos going live at the same time of day, God willing. I'm glad I'm not the only one who took *years* to get around to finally trying Curlformers, haha. Warning: They're pretty hard to get the hang of, in the beginning!
Well said, Chris Sampson! This is the only Vlogmas vid that I almost skipped because I didn't think I wanted Curlformers. But, I decided to listen today while working and I am also inspired to give them a try with these great tips. Thank you T for sharing such great content with us. We appreciate you!
Stephanie Morris, I actually tried them on a small section of my hair and I'm made at myself for not using them sooner. Everything came out so shiny and completely dried. I loved the outcome. Good luck when you try them.
Don't fret. I had mine for years too, before I finally tried them. They can be very discouraging, when you're first trying to get the hang of them, so be prepared mentally!
I actually discovered your channel watching the first curlformer demo you did! I love curlformers. They were clutch for me back when I was transitioning. The stretch they provide is amazing.
Thanks for the tips. I'm might just bring my curlformers out of retirement now. You made the most sense of everyone out there. Also loving the vlogmas series, although withdrawal may happen come January but it will be worth it
I'm going to try the foam you suggested with foam rollers. I need to buy some real curlformers the knockoffs were hard and felt damaging so I only used them once or twice before I lost track of them (I think they got left when I moved).
Not down in those Shirley Temple curls, no ma'am. NOT CUTE (in my opinion). I just use them to stretch my hair for other styling (a bun, updo or something more "long term" like kinky twists).
Great tips T! How about I had bought 2 sets of the curlformers a few years ago, but I didn't use them that much. The first time I attempted to use them it felt like I was yanking my hair out by the roots smh. I gave them away earlier this year. I may consider buying them again in the future.
Thanks! You can always get the bootleg ones. They definitely get the job done (perhaps even better than the real ones on my texture, though I find them to be more uncomfortable on my scalp).

How long is your hair now when fully stretched? With the help of your techniques w and practices I have grown mine to about 19". Thank you!

The curlformers make such beautiful curls.

Awwww, I remember mentioning you for the first time, but I actually wouldn't have known what video it was. How much time has passed!
That lippie is BOMB AF💣💣💣

Thanks for the warning. I'll make sure I build in the time to get them right tomorrow.

@@crescenta3528 Thank you for letting me know!
I've had the boot leg curlformers in my collection for years and never used them. I think I'm going to give them a try. Great tips!

You have such a news reporter voice lol😭 I wasn’t sure if it was on purpose at first but think it’s just your natural cadence
Nice makeup like the hair.
This look is everything to me I love the all black and a good high bun 🖤
Looking like a Rock Star! Gorgeous! I tried curl formers and gave up :( No patience here! Thank you, T
Completely understandable! They can truly be soul-crushing, when you haven't yet gotten the hang of them.
Very nice. I just need to muster the courage the try them lol
It took me YEARS to find the courage. 😂
Penaltament ... yaaaaassss.... haven’t heard that term used since music theory class 🤣🤣🤣
But in other news, how long do they last? 🧐🤔
Loving the black lipstick 😍🕸️🦇
Great information! I love your fashion sense! I’m so enjoying seeing you everyday! ❤️

Welcome back! 24 hours away!
I order some from eBay. My package came today.😂😂😂
I use the eBay ones sometimes, too!
I use curlformers just to stretch my hair💛
Makeup looks great
How many of the barrel curlformers do you use? For the spiral I use about a pack and a half. And which results are better?
Makeup looks 🔥

I have the bootleg curl for a and every time I see your results I am tempted to break them out but the install time is so long cuz I am so bad at it
This is such a bad ass look!
Your natural hair is so beautiful🥰
Love the videos and your dedication to Vlogmas! Do you ever wear your hair out after removing the curlformers?

Thank you for making this video. So helpful!
So glad for the ads, I watch them without skipping so the adsense checks will be shipping.
See what I did there, like that?
You are a REAL ONE!

Thanks for the tips
How often do you use your curlformers?
Very helpful 👍 thank you ❤❤
What setting set foam did you use?
hey girl!!
Hey!
Technics still intimidates me
Alright time to wipe the dust I'd my curlformers and try again🤔
For-f*ck-ever 🤣🤣🤣 I used to be 4hrs under the dryer for a roller set 😫
I could NEVER put up with that! One hour is all I can take.
Spolied by #Vlogmas
