However, things aren't that linear. Pakistani Punjabis embraced Urdu at the expense of their own language and culture. The over-romantisation of the culture which is actually Lakhnawi in nature has resulted in the modern gen of Punjabis looking down upon their own language and culture.

People only talk about the bridge divide(bridge kay is par or us par), but theres are alot more bubbles in the city. And people are living in their own bubble. A person living in NN, Fb area, Gulshan and Johar, (the biggest of bubbles) have no idea how life is inside Malir or Inside orangi, or baldia town, or Liyari, or saddar or Korangi. Each one has own perception of what city is, and what the reality is around them. (Hope you got my point, am not as eloquent with words like you guys)

My brother came out of the main gate of the house and I was behind him. It was around 8 pm. At the time when everyone were at home after closing their businesses. And at that time there was load shedding that suddenly a bullet just passed through my brother's chest. I quickly took his hand and took him inside. When we entered our house, the bombing started but Alhamdulillah we were safe that time.

Karachi gangster stories man. Get some MQM gangsters in there too (if they are still alive). How in the world a movie hasn't been made on this subject. As always great work man.

Just a comment as a Urdu speaker. Theres a general problem of percpetion of ethnic rural Sindhis in Karachi. Because due to PPPs allocation of all govt jobs to illiterate rural Sindhis, its not that that Sindhis are more corrupt, but whenever we see corruption we see an indifferent Sindhi sitting about, so mentally the two are linked together. Its not that a Karachiite (Urdu speaking, Urban Sindhi, Urban Punjabi) wont be corrupt sitting on those chairs (maybe less corruption), but since they arent seen there at all, people think only rural Sindhis are corrupt. PPP has managed to brand Sindhis as corrupt and illiterate.
