Yeah I wish that they had sales all over the country because that stinks to live too far away. I know that they work with UPS to help ship the items to homes for people who live far away and don't want to bring their stuff back on a plane.
Wow, that is some restraint! Only one doll (not counting the mini doll) from the sale. If I had the chance, I would probably go home with at least 10. I mean, I would go crazy and just buy whatever catches my eye, if money permits
Yeah part of me wishes I would have bought more now that I left, but another part of me is happy that I only bought what I did. I need to save up my money for other stuff that I want/need... I wish they would have had some of the CYO's I was looking at, but by the time I got there all of the ones that I wanted were all gone. I already have all of the BeForever's and the GOTY's that they were selling, and none of the other JLY's caught my eye. So I guess I am satisfied with what I got (although I could just be telling myself that so that way I don't regret not getting more).

I’ve never gone ..I live in Florida I’d wanna go next year to get a doll but I don’t think it’s possible to be in the car for 20 hours plus stops and all that money ..I’m happy for those who went tho !
Yeah that is pretty far to get a doll for $40. The price of getting there will end up being more than the doll itself. Maybe one day you will get to go though!
i know why this isabelle dolls were in the weird boxes! they’re the ones they give away at toys store sometimes. they have her up on display and you can put in a entry every time you go to the store! i actually won my isabelle from a toy store raffle and she was in that exact box!! i’m not sure what other stores gave them away, but learning express toys used to do it every year! that’s where i won mine!!!
BiggestAGFanEVER i’m guessing the dolls were made like that for companies that wanted to advertise and give them away because at the beginning of the year the store would announce the giveaway of the new doll of the year! they probably just made extra with that weird package just to make sure they had enough!

The benefit sale is hosted by the Madison Children's museum in Wisconsin. However, American Girl donates the items for the sale. They are items that were returned or defective and that American Girl can't sell out of.
I really want to go this year. I hope they still have it. Except it is a bit of a drive for where I live. Maybe me and my friend could carpool and make it there sometime. 💕 You got some AMAZING deals!

The sale is always held in Middleton Wisconsin and it is usually sometime in July. This year the sale is going to be online and it is going to be July 11-12

I went several years ago and they have really raised the prices. The Truly Me dolls were $35 on Sundays. I wonder why the prices have jumped.

yes they are! This year the truly me's are $50 and the CYO are $85 the cheapest doll at the sale this year is Melody at $30
