@@goonerman6370 Everyone's different. Some traditional breakfast foods make me extremely ill. Anyway, all "breakfast" means is you're breaking your fast from the night before. So anything you eat first thing is a breakfast food.

@@JamiJR Yeah, I grinned a bit at the "fried chicken is not breakfast food". I like japanese food and I heard from some exchange students that fried chicken is a quite popular breakfast item over there.

Mike you can ask them to keep the chicken separate from the salad so that it doesn't wilt the salad before you add it in on your own and it may even keep the chicken somewhat crisp
There's a breakfast item at the KFC at Manchester airport (and presuming other locations that open earlier than usual) called chicken AM and it's a chicken sandwich with hash brown and cheese

Your KFC experience is the same as mine in the East of England. The worst customer service I have ever experienced and also the most variation in quality of food from visit to visit. Personally, I think they've changed the chicken recipe. It ain't what it was 20 years ago

A week on traditional British food
It would most consist of meat and veg dishes (roast, stew etc), unless you include westernised culture foods, which is a big part of Brit cuisine.
If KFC offered a grilled fillet, that box thing he had for lunch would probably have been so much better. KFC did have some grilled offerings for a while but it didn't last too long...
Should just order it on just eat.

Didn't try the sweet chilli, thought the Buffalo ones were way to vinegar forward, the Piri Piri ones were by far the nicest of the two I tried.

In all fairness, KFC is an American food franchise, and fried chicken is decidedly American, even if it's actual origins are Scottish and African, weirdly enough.

@@baddude1337 I honestly thought it was French or Belgian. They have had a thing for deep frying food for a very long time (to the point the French word for frying, friture, is a common loan word in other languages as a description for deep frying). Like French fries f.ex are Belgian in origin. And the southern US have way more in common culturally with France than Scotland.
I actually had no idea KFC did all these sauces until this week on. Any I've been too never have a full menu on display, and most don't have the new self-order terminals. We usually just go for gravy.

I use the self-order terminals to browse the menu. It's far easier than clogging up the line at the till.
It's funny to me, no one in here eats KFC fries, it is always mashed potatoes and gravy

In sweden KFC does not have gravy, I've never felt it worth seeking out any of their 4 restaurants they have in our entire country
All I can say about that gravy is it would pass my dads test to on thickness.That burger looked yummy,as always Basil is a cute cat,very jealous of that daredevil meal. You are making me very hungry with that.

As a Brit, chicken and waffles seems like a bizarre combination to me. Then again we have things like Yorkshire puddings which aren't actually puddings.
The last time I was at KFC, I had a jacket spud and coleslaw, which I really enjoyed.
I had no idea they even did Jacket potatoes! I know in the US they have potato wedges and mashed potato instead of chips, but not jackets.

@@baddude1337 This was about 17 years ago in North East England and I haven't been inside a KFC since, so that may not be the case now. I was with a friend and it was the only vegetarian option they had (my friend really wanted KFC).
