My Echeveria Perle von N. has the same pot size terracotta as yours and I noticed when I put her only in pumice the bottom leaves also came off to often. I realized that plant need more moisture to hold up. Just a thought🙃😉.

You posted a repotting string of hearts video last year, and I just came across it. I have a string of hearts plant that my friend and I bought from a local plant show. We are wanting to split the actual plant. Not propagate, but actually split the physical plant. We were wondering if we can just shake off the soil, and split the roots? Do you think it would be damaging for the plant? Any tips or advice? Thanks!!! :) -Alana
