I honestly don't think they want this to happen. I mean, they had several scenes when his sister-in-law was in the hospital, but they still managed to bring up Meredith and his feelings for her, so I genuinely don't think these two will ever be more than friends. Of course, this is Grey's, so who knows.

I love this FRIENDSHIP. I can’t see Jo with him at all, I like her as the independent strong character she is and I don’t think she needs anybody at this moment. Meredith is definitely the best candidate for this relationship but I need them to hold off on Meredith being in a relationship for at least a season
i think jo would have a great relationship with jack from station 19, not even romantic wise just friendship wise ((not sure if this sentence is correct but ok lol)). and they DEFINITELY need to hold off on meredith being in a relationship for a while cuz they love writing storylines where characters just jump from one relationship to another and its getting boring lol
