I can't believe this was Colin's first late night appearance. The man is a genius.
He's so quick witted I think half of his humor went over the audiences head
*FACTS!*
There were a lot of little lines that got muffled by laughter at the previous line so they didn't quite hear it, and it was better than what they laughed at, and sometimes they just couldn't make the mental leap he did to connect the humor. Looking back, if you notice, he was the *ONE* that got all the "Hard" jobs. Always played the woman, Ryan's Arms, The "Main" guy for the "news show" with his amazing little summaries of the "Top story"... my favorite one, I can't remember the setup, but it was someone had murdered a Cow with a small figurine or something so it was "Our first ever... "Nick-Knack Patty Wack""
The man was a genius, and the best "Straight man" I've ever seen, he *BARELY* ever broke scene, no matter the utter and total *CHAOS* around him, there he was, calmly standing there... just looking adorable... with one more cup of gasoline to add to the fire.
@@dementare I just now understood the “Nick-Knack patty Wack” reference 😂😂 and I’ve been seeing it in compilations for years. Thank you for that
@@dementare I loved when they did the Irish Drinking Song bit, Ryan just spouted gibberish breaking everyone but Colin, who kept the rythmn and on his part just said "MEOW!"
Colin Mochrie has made me laugh ever since I was a kid. Love that guy.
He used to bring Drew to tears on a regular basis on "Whose line". Super funny guy. Him and Ryan Stiles were great together.
Every time I rewatch a clip of Whose line on CZcams, It always makes me laugh
"I have this image, and getting fit is not part of it" I'm totally using that one lol
That applies to someone whose between Fat & Shredded. If anyone is over weight, they might have to just straight out lie about their medical reports in their cheesy line.
I love Colin so much, it hurts hearing that he didn't see Ryan for so long, he deserves so much more credit than he gets.
Colin has amazing chemistry with anyone he meets. I love both these guys.
+OOZiTen Duh, he's Canadian & we're awesome...... At being super polite.... Yeah we're badasses!
+Lori Burnip thats not very polite of you to point out...what are you american? sorry eh
Still love this banter. They're incredibly quick-witted. It's one zinger after another...
I've never seen a guy on TV get as much man on man action as Colin Mochre.
Fangle Spangle True, true. For yrs, up until a few months ago actually I thought Colin was gay! They always have him playing the female role n i guess i thought well yes he's effeminate, must b gay!
"Aw, we're all out of time. D'ya want fifty bucks?" XD
I miss the hell out of this show.
CAPTAIN HAIR!
Wait, where's the Chippendale kid and Captain Frat Boy and Totally Insane Old Man
I don't know why people don't leave him alone about his freaking hair his hair is fine and he is terrific so shut up about his hair
Colin is adorable. I wish he’d have more television appearances 😊
Colin was so nervous lol
I think that was him just trying to remember the answer to the question
Why? He gets up in front of a room full of people and does improv all the time.
@@billgateskilledmyuncle23 performing in front of a big crowd is DIFFERENT from talking to a small group of people(where as on stage they take command of the stage and performance), many great performers are shy off stage
Colin Mochrie rocks. Nuff said.
And now Colin and Ryan see each other all the time on the CW.
Collin is a fucking legend. Whose line is it anyways was the best shit ever.
cindybin2001 Who the fuck is you and what do you want with me? I mean you sure are desperate enough to link and make me notice your comment that you dropped and linked this shit on my games related video and channel that are totally unrelated to this video :/ yes i am like this in real life. You don't like me for who i am, Please with all due respect GO FUCK YOURSELF.
lightThatcherry can you speak to someone WITHOUT using profanity, or are you just That stupid!
cindybin2001 Crude yes....offensive...not at all. People use the word to lightly these days. It should be hard to get offended. It´s just a silly concept. But I agree that profanity is not a great language to use
colin and ryan are absolutely adorable together. wish they would do more stuff together
Carina Elisabeth Valenzuela Well Whose Line's been back for a while now, so your wish has been forfilled! ;)
I know Whose Line is back, but to me it's not the same without Drew
He seemed nervous, which is crazy considering his job.
The fact that ryens daughter calls Colin uncle just made my day :)
Colin burst out my favorite Shakespeare lines, Craig got stunned
I love this man and all the whose line gang. Such a big part of my childhood and has shapped my own style of comedy so much. I got to say it makes me so happy to hear that Ryan's daughter calls him uncle Colin.
This is one of if not the best interviews Craig ever did. The chemistry, improvisation and comedic timing from them both made this interview very strong and very funny.
Colin: “Is this a dagger I see before me?”
Craig: “No! It’s another man’s penis”
This was so quite I was dying 😂😂😂
an arctic turn?
bACKStreet boys
I feel like Colin and Craig have great chemistry. That interview, let's be honest, was essentially about nothing. And yet they still carried it for 8 minutes and it was pretty funny. I'd love to see him on the show more often.
Hey only Ryan is allowed to kiss Colin!
2 most underrated comedians on one screen
I just love Colin so much !I'm glad Ryan and him are back together on Whose line, I need these two to be together to be happy ! "uncle Colin" :')
Colin Mochrie, Craig Ferguson & Robin Williams~~~ 3 of the most funny dudes on planet Earth & 3 of my personal favorites! Awesome interview!
"...LET ME LIVE THE DREAM."
AHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAAA
I dont think ryan styles is a big fan of all the hollywood bs, im sure he just changes his # alot so he can be left alone.
devin nore Bill Murray has no phone, only a P.O. Box to contact him at. Some only would like to share their talents with the world not be in the Hollywood scene. Hollywood can break you.
@@Pt0wN973b0iI That's false. Bill Murray has a phone, but he only answers for Wes Anderson.
@@brefstank8398 he lives around my neck of the woods, heck he sold one of his cars to my doctor
only after watching MANY MANY comedians and tv hosts you realize that Craig is on another level. He's quick, has many many tools to talk about and is genuinely interesting as a person. I think he'd do well as a Whose line guest :)
He's Scottish born, Saskatchewan's own.
I've seen Brad and Colin on tour three times, selected to be on stage once, and my daughter and I were selected for a meet and greet with them prior to a show. Certainly a bucket lister.
If you ever get a chance to see Brad and Colin on tour, do it. You will not regret it.
Colin’s proud smile at 3:33 is funny because he smiled after he said it and 4:22 is cute because who doesn’t find Colin Mochrie adorable
Colin has got to be one of the most genuine humble people out there.
For those who think Craig is being a "douche" or anything else I've read.. They know each other and are friends. That is the joke here!
this host is sarcastic to perfection
sarcasm is the lowest form of comedy, and both these guys are far better comedians than that
ajegray1 no sarcasm is also a form of comedy. And not many can master it.
jxcess3891 I can agree with that if we can agree that sarcasm done as intelligent comedy is often called satire; and good satire can only be done by the best. my initial comment was more targeted at the simplification of the English language to the point where sarcasm and satire are so easily confused.
***** That's only because it's so hard to be good at and be really funny. That's why saturday night live isn't always good.
Gosh, Colin talking about how he couldn't get up with Ryan made me disappointed. He sounded really sad from it and thus, making me sad. I'm glad they can actually see each other again.
Lizzy Lee yeah it made me sad too. I always assumed Colin and Ryan were the best of buds
Well Ryan's daughter knows Colin as "Uncle Colin", so even if brothers don't see each other for a while, they're still family (Not by blood, but by choice in this case).
I honestly love colins work. Also debra has amazing scripts and writing. I used to watch kinley's reviews back in the day, so basically yes, colin and his wife and daughter are in fact quite amazing. Perfect.
Colin: (laughs) That's not impossible...I'M ADORABLE! Yes! Yes! Yes! You are! It's about time he noticed what every #WhoseLineIsItAnyway Fan was talking about. LMAO! YOUR SIMPLY ADORABLE Colin!
I love these types of interviews !
what better way to get to know a celebrety that you are a fan of than just letting them do what they do best. :D
You can tell colin is throwing impro techniques but craig cant follow.
It's so weird seeing Colin in a suit
*An Arctic Turn*
I'm surprised they didn't mention anything about being on the Drew Carey show together
+Randy O'Donnell Right? I was expecting at least a slight mention of it.
I remember Ryan and Craig on the Drew Carey show but not Collin. I haven't seen it since I was a kid though
+I Like You Colin appeared on the three "live" episodes of the Drew Carey show as Eugene.
Colin didn't really appear that much on TDS. If he came on more than once, they might've talked about it
This is probably the silliest interview I have seen in my life - and I love it!
such wit. it's a shame there aren't more of these interviews.
I just love Colin
I love how everyone is like what an awkward interview. Umm Craig is like that in every interview. And he's known Colin for years. I wish he was still on
"It's not possible, I'm adorable". - I SO AGREEEEEEEE :D !!!!
The scooter joke about Drew is underrated
Canadian WWOOOOOHHOOOO!!!! proud as eh' lol Everytime I see Colin always reminds me of Tapioca!!!! "Arctic Tern"
So, I actually bothered to Google the origins of the name "Mochrie."
Scotland.
Your mother-in-law was wrong about you, Colin. You're both adorable *and* Scottish.
You don't need google to know he was born in Scotland. Its mentioned a bit and is on his wikipedia page.
A serious comedic gem.
I need more Colin in my life
Love both these guys. Far more talent on the screen right here than all of the current (2019) late night hosts combined.
Lol so humble and respectful, Colin is one of the best
Hes made me laugh Since i was 4 its great to see him still doing what he does best
I met Colin in Chicago about 14 years ago. He was actually kind of shy off stage. Nice, just shy. He was in Ohare Airport and got lost looking for his taxi. I showed him where it was.
I love you Colin!!!! I got to see you in wisconsin and have tickets to see you again in new york this year! Sooo stoked!
Craig should be a frequent guest of the new WLIA... Even better if he became the host! (Nothing against Aisha, but there's something organic when these guys knew each other from Drew Carey Show.)
Heck, yeah! I'd like to see him as the host, just based off of this back-and-forth.
*****
Uh, I was referring to Craig. And if you've watched the Drew Carey version, he's not just sitting behind the desk and pressing buttons and laugh. He also inserts himself in several games, particularly if he declared one of the cast as the winner and he/she would substitute Drew behind the desk.
I love Colin !!!!
Classic! First time seeing this. Good for Colin, although Colin was so nervous in his first time to have a talk show. He is underrated and really a nice person.
This was the best late-night of that era. This segment really highlights Craig's talent at making the format funny again and engaging with the guest in a fun way that isn't all clearly bullshit, just jokes. We need less "Reality Show games with Jimmy Fallon" and more "Colin from Bavaria Everybody!" The entertainment difference is staggering
I do believe this is the best talk show interview I've ever seen.
Two of my favorite comedians together!!!! He should have done the whole show!
Can I just say this interview was excellent in every respect?
I’ve never seen him on a talk show. This is great!
It's so weird to see Colin in a suit. I'm so used to his colorful shirts on Whose Line! XD
one of the greatest entertainers that not enough people know about
How can you not love this man. Geez. Thank you Captain Hair. I love you
Colin looks so good in a suit
I watched Craig Ferguson EVERY NIGHT... My all time favorite talk show host...and I have been to Scotland... Loved Scotland so much that I didn’t want to come home!!
Yes, you ARE adorable! :)
I've been watch Whose Line since the British version aired in the US. Colin and Ryan are brilliant.
he is way underrated...too funny
I wish Colin was my uncle
Colin is awesome. Always on, clever. Just plain funny.
Awwww. The is the first time I've ever gotten to see the real Colin Mochrie, and he appears to be a great guy. Too bad Craig doesn't seem to get him. It felt kind of awkward the whole time for me. It wasn't nearly as funny as I thought it would be.
Eh, all his interviews are like that. I think they're great, at least compared to other talk shows where the host tries to control everything and stick to a script. Here, it's like they're having a real conversation.
Doctor Thaddeus Bodog Sivana Except I felt like maybe Craig looked down on him for whatever reason. Maybe it's just me.
Jonizz No, seriously. I've seen how he interacts with Gerard Butler, and he's a HOOT! I *LOVE* Craig Ferguson. :)
Awww..I lovvvvve Colin!!!!
"LET ME LIVE THE DREAM" Okay
two of my favorite people together!!!!!
I know, I'm so excited! :)
Two great improvisers :D
absolutely great, need more
Wait..what is this? Colin and Craig, my two most favorite people in the world, in one room together?? Well damn, now I can die happy.
i love these two together
"I.... Have been!"
two of my favorite people together
Colin is a genius. So many laughs over the years
Colin Mochrie: one of the most underrated comedians of all time.
agreed
Thats why he is underrated :P
+brian whalen Even being very nervous he still was extremely charming and funny. He's just naturally funny.
he almost didnt get on whose line for not being funny enough which sounds crazy to me
Nicolas Broszky there was no laugh track in the office
