Those short term rental units normally get cleaned thoroughly after a renter leaves and it looked clean but that refrigerator is the main culprit
Personally for me, roaches gross me out more than spiders or other insects…..if I see a spider I’ll often just leave it be, they help keep roaches at bay (if you just have a few around, not an infestation). Same with any lizards, geckos etc 🦎
Idk why but I got so many wolf spiders in the yards and sometimes in the house, no roaches though so they are allies, my gf and mom think otherwise though when I hear the shriek and my name called out

Around minute 8 you discuss the importance of keeping tidy. I'm a technician as well. As soon as I know the family or restaurant is unable or unwilling to keep tidy. I give up hope.
For real man! There is nothing worst than costumers who think you are a magician and you are gonna solve their problem, without them changing hygiene habits or being willing to pay someone to clean their restaurant.
Sounds like someone brought them in. They usually don’t infest an area that’s not lived in. You usually see them finding their way into a place that has a lot of clutter or someone who is unable to clean. With a hotel, people who have roaches bring them in and they multiply.
Yeah. My whole mobile home is infested with German cockroaches. I'm 27 now, and exchanged them between 3 mobile homes. 2 of them I couldn't do much I was just growing up with my parents but when my dad died and my mom got the last mobile home she didnt take care of them. Then she retired and retired the mobile home to me. Left it for me as my problem. Never had the money for this kinda thing so I've just lived with it. It's definitely isn't a great life whatsoever. But I'm alive so. What can I say?

Glue traps annihilated my infestation behind my fridge. Cruel but effective.
Glue traps are just telling you what you have remaining. Let’s say you do a treatment leave a glue board then come back and only start seeing a reduction. After that you’ll adjust your level of treatment then leave another glue board after to monitor
@@jvj5644 yes that’s true, I should say the traps were instrumental as I think they killed so many breeding females and new hatches. I also used some chemical treatment but relatively few bugs were dead on and around the kitchen whereas dozens, maybe hundreds were in the glue traps.
I was watching your old video of the tour of your parent's business in KY. One question: you opened the lid to a tool box in the back of the truck and there were what looked like aerosol cans. Wouldn't they get too hot in the summer and potentially explode? I'm just wondering out loud.

Tenants we’re probably not only dirty but they were probably the ones to physically bring the roaches into the home.
