I agree with you Mariah was a huge impact of the 90s and in my childhood. I agree there were other amazing singers. But I believe Mariah had so many really good songs that really stand out. Mariah is 1 of the best Female Legends. In my opinion. I feel like no one can sing as good as her. I know Whitney and Celine are incredible. But I liked more of Mariahs songs. She had 2 masterpiece albums.

Compare and recent gig with her pre 2007. And don't tell me, oh, she aged. Beyoncé is 40 something herself now and still sounds amazing, Christina Aguilera is in her 40s still sounding amazing, and she sing just as demanding stuff as Mariah does, minus the whistle, which is more like a gimmick. But when it comes to using her full voice, Mariah is just not there anymore, but I have not doubts she could get her voice back up in shape if she wanted to.
