Absolutely Incredible!!! I’ve watched videos on how to make these, after watching this, the other videos were drastically over complicated,,, these people make it look very simple, and they do it in such an environmentally friendly way,, It literally would not surprise me at this point if they didn’t recycle the ash from the fire they used to cure all those crucibles with

just buy it, is NOT that expensive. To make it you need to make a mold then have the proper % of clay and best graphite available, after that you fire the raw crucible in an oven making sure the temperature is right. Now you know, start making your own.

Another beautiful demonstration of extraordinary work, undoubtedly the best workers in the world can be found in India. These people are working under conditions that would be unacceptable to us and they never complain. I would very much like their working conditions to improve because they all take considerable risks while doing their jobs.
Could anyone tell me what is the powdered gray matter that is added to the earth to make these crucibles, I was thinking of graphite but I have a big doubt and I would like to know what it is is because I suppose that it is thanks to this material and to the cooking of the earthenware pots that the crucibles can withstand high temperatures. Thank you for sharing these videos showing us these people from the end of the world working artisanally.

Why dont you sit on a chair n table to see how easy/difficult it is to mould crucibles for days on end?:) Sitting cross legged on the floor doesnt put any stress on your spine. Specially when you have to work 8-10 hours daily. Its the most easy and natural position to sit in. Its like sitting in a yoga pose all day long. Lol
