- Finally! After many of you asked about the Leobog Ice Vein and Reaper switches, I decided to purchase them to compare how they would sound. In conclusion, they are all equally nice to type on and I absolutely love the typing experience on each keyboard; however there are some subtle differences between how they sound, as you'll find out after watching this video. I hope it is helpful! Leave a like or comment if you like this kind of video and that would help me tremendously in planning what kind of videos to make in the future. Thank you so much, have a great day!

Thank goodness someone made this video I could not find it anywhere
Dude, thank you so much for this. No BS, straight to the point, plus a quick opinion. I subscribed.
Thank you! 🙏
This video helped me to decide the switch. Thank you so much!
You’re welcome, glad it helped :D
Thank you so much!! Really helpful to decide which switch i want to buy!
Glad I could help!
Oh. You have made a very useful video for the switch sound on the Auka F75 keyboard
Glad it was helpful!
Great comparison, you deserve a sub!
Thank you, much appreciated!
Finally, someone does this comparison! I have the exact board shown with the Crescent AKA New Moon switches. Honestly, in person it sounds more like the Ice Vein switches sound in the video. Or maybe in between the Ice Vein and Crescent. They have a pretty pleasant sound to me. A little thock, a little click, not scratchy. I think the Reaper switches sound the worst of the bunch, but still good. I think if anyone wants a heavier switch, they should go with the reaper. If they want a lighter switch and the most thock, Crescent. If they want a lighter switch and a little more click, the Crescent. All are good switches and the Aula F75 itself is amazing!
Thanks for sharing! 🙏
Hey, if I use the keyboard to note something down while on a call which of the 3 switches do you think the person on the other end will be able to hear?
All of them 😅. You should check out some silent switches, for example: czcams.com/video/IonyNReshQI/video.htmlsi=O6Md1h-X6ZRLn1HS
Thank you, helped!
After watchng this vid I bought the Leobog Ice Vein version as my first custom keyboard! I was going for the Repear switches but it was out of stock so I got the ice and I think i made a better..or thockier decision. Lovin it! Thank you MechWhisper
Thank you! Enjoy your first custom mech keyboard! :D
gracias tu video me sirvio. sin tantos rodeos y directo al grano 😁👍
You’re welcome! I’m glad the video was useful to you. Gracias!
very much needed video tyy
Glad it helped!
Hi,
Is there delay or any issue on wireless mode? I think i'll buy F75 instead of Ajazz 820 Pro
Here’s the approximate latencies for all three modes:
Wired mode: 7.4ms
2.4G mode: 10.1ms
Bluetooth mode: 24.5ms
@@MechWhisper Did you get your data from Thoccnology? She is awesome!
thanks this helps me a lot
You’re welcome, glad it helped! :)
New to mec keebs, is this a better option to get started with for both typing and gaming? I see you prefer Ice Vein; is that good enough?
If you’re just getting started, this keyboard is more than good enough. It is hot-swappable, meaning you can change out the switch anytime if you ever need a different one to better suit your gaming or typing needs.
Sup, do you know how long the spring is on the ice vein? Thanks!
Hey I just measured it, it's a two-stage spring, 2cm long.
Hello, i can’t choose between the graywood v4 and ice vein. On your perspective, which one will you choose?
Ice vein feels lighter than the graywood v4, the graywood feels more “bouncy” and requires more force when typing which could mean it’s less prone to typing errors. Both are very well factory lubed, buttery smooth.
@@MechWhisper Thank you for your very informative response. Additional question: between both of them, which of them has a satisfying sound in the form of a thocky and deep sound?
if you would rank which switch is thockier among the 3. which one is it?
I’d think the ice vein :)
Can u do a latency test I’m interested in keyboard but donno how well it will be for gaming
Hey! The approximate latencies are:
Wired mode: 7.4ms
2.4G mode: 10.1ms
Bluetooth mode: 24.5ms
@@MechWhisper thank you
what would u recommend me for fortnite. it is mostly based on mechanics so i need a low actuation point. soo which switch has the lowest actuation point
TTC crescent :)
@@MechWhisper thx for the reply
@@havoq. you’re welcome!
Are the graywood v3 switches any good?
They are quite good, factory lubed and pretty smooth.
Which switches is more bouncier smooth for long typing
Reaper feels bouncier, note that it has a 2-stage spring.
What switches are the best in your opinion?
I like the sound of ice vein most, all of them are pretty smooth and nice to type on
Guys vote on which is best I like crescent switch tbh
which one of them would be good for rhythm games?
Honestly I'm not sure! I don't play rhythm games myself
There isn't much difference in actuation force.
What is the best switch for Gaming?
I think it depends. If you need a lower actuation force for gaming, I suggest the TTC crescent.
Which one sounds better to you?
Personally I like the ice vein the most
which switch do you prefer?
I prefer the ice vein switch :D
if you could only choose one, which one would it be?
Ice vein :)
@@MechWhisper ah nice, I got reaper and like them but idk what the others are like. Do they feel different?
@@suli_xli They feel quite similar, but there are some subtle differences. For example, the Reaper switches have a slightly shorter spring at 1.8cm compared to, let's say, the Ice Vein switches which uses a 2-stage spring. Overall, though, the typing experience is comparable between them.
@@MechWhisper ah ok, what does the shorter spring mean/do?
Hi! Would you rather get Ice Veins or Leobog Reaper as the difference beetwen them is 10 bucks :)
Hi, do you mean TTC crescent and Leobog Reaper?
Nah I mean Leobog Ice Vein or Leobog Reaper
Are you looking at AliExpress? Cuz I see barely any difference between ice vein and reaper 😅
Well Yes Cuz if I order from website, I will pay VAT etc
@@nacikpacik Ah, I see. Honestly, I think you won’t be disappointed with either one, if you’re not too picky choose the cheaper one!
Which one is more quite,please?
Ice vein :) (but don't expect it to be too quiet :P)
@@MechWhisper many thanks
@@NguyenAnh-kf4hz you’re welcome!
Is it icevein or icesoul? I can't find ice vein on ali.
Ice vein! I don’t think they sell ice vein separately
Wich switch is faster, i need a keyboard for fortnite so i'll aprecciate an answer
I think either the TTC crescent or the ice vein, they have lower actuation force.
Thx 😁😁
Which one is quieter ?
I’d say the ice vein, but tbh not too much of a difference
is this stock?
Yep it’s completely stock :)
@@MechWhisper thank you, does it sound as good IRL or is it just the mic making it soon good as i've seen other videos where it sounds less creamy and more clacky
@@xymdx the mic does affect how it sounds a little, I would say it’s pretty close, it does sound good to me though when I type and hear it IRL
Which is best for gaming
I mean switches which ones are the lightest ones to press
All of them are not too heavy, but the TTC crescent and the ice vein have slightly smaller actuation force than the reaper
The reaper is poppy and creamy at the same time
It is!
ugh why are they all lenear
yeah they are all linears xD
