Lena Meyer-Landrut - ESC 2011 - The Elstner interview (part 1) (english subs)

- A bit of an explanation is needed here...
There has been quite some discussion by the people and the media, stating that Lena should have been more polite to Frank Elstner, since he's a renown media icon who has invented many a TV show. The most famous one being "Wetten Dass?" (Wanna Bet?) which is airing several times a year since 1981. He's a nice guy to be honest, a bit old-school maybe, but you need people like him on TV, too. But he was badly prepared for this show and thus Lena got slightly pissed as it went on. No harm done, both of them still seem to get along, but as usual the discussions among people that weren't directly involved were quite heated. I guess you know what I mean :D After all it turned out to be the most entertaining of the five "Countdown for Lena" shows, even though it was involuntarily.

Bei 4:34 dürfte ein Mitarbeiter hinter den Kulissen zusammen mit Lena die Augen verdreht haben - der Blick geht an Elstner vorbei...
vermutlich zum Herrn der auch bei 6:03 eingeblendet wird und ein ähnlich milde verächtliches Lächeln auf den Lippen hat wie "unsere Lena"...

Elstner ist der sympathischste Moderator überhaupt.......die Lena ist eine voreingenommene Göre

European - Eurovision --- he was naming continental regions before and then emphasising that it was not only a EUROPEAN competition anymore, geographically. She corrects him for using the official name, Eurovision. And that is a) respectless and b) not getting the point he was doing to make. After all Lena does not seem to be professional here, being unconcentrated and seemingly without any interest in the conversation. Understandable in her position, maybe, but nevertheless rude from a social perspective and somehow unneccessary.
