I haven't cried in years. I balled for half an hour watching this. I don't care what anyone says. Live your life like tomorrow is your last day. Forget your enemies. Forget any little things someone has done to try and influence you to do something. DO WHAT YOU WANT. Be your best self, and live your best life. I hope someone reads this when they need it most.

This family is so strong. I had to speak at a few funerals and could barely get my words out. I'd get choked up every couple words. This was not an easy thing to do, especially for Becca. So much respect.

Dan would have loved these Eulogies! I can see him smiling and shaking his head at his mum :) Dans life was filled with happiness and love in his short time more than some of us ever have ! If we all lived life like he did , wanting life, wanting happiness , wanting fulfillment then we all could say we had a rewarding life ! The love in ur family is insurmountable! I was doing great watching this until Becca read her letter. It was beautifully written, it shows how much she loved/loves him. I lost it & started crying. Becca I pray for you, that you & his whole family find comfort in knowing that Dan is healed & he's no longer in pain. His mom's story about taking Dan to church had me laughing so hard. It took me nearly 2 years to be able to watch this I was so upset by Dan's passing. It was so lovely and so brave of you to share his life's story; so true he has left a lasting legacy and will help so many people face this terrible disease like he did with humour, honesty and bravery. RIP wonderful and brave guy. I will never forget you and you have helped me more than you would ever have known thank you 🙏❤

Because of Dan, I try to live my life as best as I can, to "never give in, never give up". Yes, he will be missed, but he will also be remembered by all the individuals that he touched! SJ F. I too have severe depression & ptsd, along with anxiety & bpd. I have to overcome my struggles everyday. Dan definitely left a mark on many of our lives & would want us to find anything positive to hold onto.
Stay strong! We share the same burden.. Dan also encouraged me, to search the light in the darkest moments
I'm crying like a baby because it's just so unfair that someone that truly wanted to be on this earth and do good things was taken from us! He will be missed!
If I EVER feel sorry for myself, I can just put one of Dan's videos on. I lost my 24 YO son in 2004. Not a day goes by I still greave him.

Quite honestly, if you're still is great sadness or grief over his death, it might be time to check in on counseling for help with dealing with the remaining emotions. Remembering a loved one who's passed and feeling a little sad that they're not there is one thing, but if that feeling is strong and invading your time every day then that's another thing.

I'm sorry about your son. I lost my 20yr old daughter 2 years ago..it is hard..I'm beginning to feel my life normalize..it will never be completely normal..like it was..it's a new normal, but it's alright.
@@Diana-tf5xq Thank you, Diana Murry and all friends of Dan... There is never a way to express the loss of a child, nor is there a correct way to greave. It is the drop of a very large stone that leaves endless ripples. For me there are wonderful memories and losses like this that bring back the sharpness of reality. Both are part of the same love you carry and both need acknowledgement.
His family is strong, just like Dan was.
I only just found him yesterday, for some reason he was in my newsfeed and believe me, he is the friend I so badly need right now. For that I thank you Dan and all yout family. May their memories bring comfort.

Someone started cutting onions as soon as becca started talking. Seariously that was the best thing I’ve heard ever in my life, I’m glad dan got to marry that women, she’s amazing.

I lost my husband to cancer 3 days after dan passed away. We managed to get married 2 month before his death. I’m in the same boat as you it’s so painful your chest feels

I married my husband 3wks before he gained his wings. I’m lost without him we had a magic love affair. He always said to me don’t argue with me before bed baba coz no matter what I will hug you and kiss you which he whole heartedly kept his word. It’s so lonely now

I had to wait to watch the funeral. I couldn't do it right away. I watched it all today, and thank you so much for sharing this with us. Dan was one of thee most influential people in my life and he never knew it while he was alive...but he knows it now!!! I send all the love I can muster to the family and friends of Dan.
He was so fortunate to be surrounded by so many who loved him. He's looking down on everyone now. He taught us how to live life..... Such a blessing.... Thanks Dan......

Absolute legends and role models for me and I'm sure for many mums and dads here. As a fellow Christian, I have been praying for Dan since the day I discovered his channel, first for his health and relief, now for his eternal happiness. I hope we all meet one day in a better place.

That was incredible. I’ve never met this family yet I’m so proud of them. They’re the most wonderful people. I have nothing but genuine love and complete respect for them. I think of Dan and all the family everyday. Through watching Dan’s videos and reading his blog,I do feel,no matter how tiny,that I’m a better person. I understood Dans families message. Especially Lins. She has great faith, helping her to make sense of Dans life and awful illness. Lovely family. I came across Dan's videos by mistake on CZcams and was transfixed. I found it heart wrenching, especially when he was nearly passing away and still asked the Doctors if they were going to operate, so sad...he just wanted to live and was willing to try anything to have more time with his loved ones. What's it all about. I like to think he is looking down on you all, he was such an inspirational soul. X
