I won't even lie, I am doing CS at a rlly good school and I legitimately never understood pre-calc during HS at the fundamental level. With my weak foundation, I was always confused on small topics such as this. I am just brushing up on the small things that bothered me and oh my god why does it make SO MUCH SENSE now?? It's based on the unit circle!

I’m convinced that most of my teachers just demonstrated their ability to produce the answers to the problems in their textbooks the way the books said that they were supposed to. I still find it hard to follow.

I find the usage of ≡ rather confusing because of its usage in modular arithmetic as congruency. For me atleast it implies similarity while not necessarily being exactly equal, like having the same remainder.

Yah these identities are easy,, try deriving the Identity
tan (A+B+C); it's all complex fractions
Sin²x+2sinx cos x + cos²x
1+2sin x cos x
I was understanding at the beginning and then all of a sudden I lost it. It was like magic. It was like witchcraft. All of a sudden everything became so blurred. Absolutely witchcraft.

(cos x+ sin x -1)/( cos x-sin x+ 1) = sin x/( 1+ cos x)
You'd be tempted to clear fractions but I'm told that is not the correct procedure
only the Pythagorean theorem works..
sin ^2 x + cos ^2 x = 1 is all ya need to know
