Great looking watch. But if you want to be a datejust killer, decent water resistance is needed. Would be so nice if that were the cases even if just 50m. If you put on a nice bracelet like this, let people get wet
Grand Seiko says 30m or Splash Resistant, but I have seen a test and it was waterproof at 100m (10 ATM). They did not go any further but who knows how much it would have reached.

I really enjoy your reviews! As to the watch, it’s of course really nice, though hard to single out one GS moderately sized automatic.

I would love it if they did gold furniture against a silver dial, just a for a touch of contrast.
Had it been a bit thinner it would have been as beautiful as a Patek 5196j. But then it is probably more robust and definitely cheaper 😃
Simple but elegant watch the dial could use some text on the lower part for balance imo. The clasp desperately needs a on the fly adjustment system.
