9:56 notice the front of the car where the headlights are shining and it does that neat little dance to check all lights are working. I love it!
It's not to check if they're working, Mercedes is just showing off what they're capable of with their technoligy :D if one of the lights wouldn't work you would get a message in the infotainment system.

Nice coverage of the C-Class, the difference is very subtle, but I like the rear lights with the opposite "C" insignia. Not a fan of fake exhaust tips though.

Thank you for this! I am eager to order a C300 4Matic (here in USA) and am already set on polar white with AMG package. But I've been debating internally if to get the night package or not (the main reason being that I don't like how the normal chrome lining strips around the windows seem to stain from water), but this video showed me that I think the night package is a bit too much for me. Solved something I've been thinking about for a couple of weeks.
Night package is definitely a MUST-HAVE on a Polar White C-Class!
Otherwise, you could just darken your rear windows and external mirrors by third parties...
The black side mirrors will look totally out of place.. The night package only looks good on Selenite Grey body paint. just coz of the side mirrors.

Very similar rear light design lighting like the CLS C218. Like it a lot that they took the old 2011 design but interpreted it new.

Dear King. Nice review indeed. I always follow your review of the MB. I have order the same vehicle C class, everything same , cranberry red, panaromic sunroof, Burmester etc with polar white exterior, which will be produced in this 2019 January production. But my one is C160 1.6 turbo. I know the engine output/torque. But I would like to know if MB refined/returned the engine in 2019.

I've ordered a Diamond White facelift C300. I'm in Australia (so the options are no doubt different) and have ordered the AMG Line pack (with the new 19" AMG wheels), Command (Burmeister audio etc.), Vision (Panoramic sunroof and multi-beam LED) and Seat Comfort (heated seats with memory) packs. I'm pretty sure our base options are better than UK, US or Europe (because we pay so much more for the car), so I'm not really missing anything but the air purifier. I should take delivery inside 4 weeks and will post something when I have it.
I'm told the car will land in the country on July 11th and then undergo compliance. The dealer has said they're not expecting one in the showroom for a few weeks after that and that mine might be the first they see.
Yall pay like 2 times the price of the car in Australia.You can buy a base c class in for 40k usd here in the states
Yeah I know. The average wage is comparatively higher, but we get gouged. It's not twice the price here as the base model C200 is equivalent of 49,600 USD (but with better options), but still a killer. It's not the C200 where we get murdered though, it's the AMG models. While you guys pay roughly $73K USD for the base model C63s, we pay the equivalent of (wait for it) 124K USD! Again, with better options, but certainly nowhere near $50K USD worth of better options.
Unfortunately the car has been delayed a few times. 2 weeks ago the dealer advised that MB Australia had placed a sales embargo on the face-lifted C Class to ensure that every dealer in the country had demonstrators. When I ordered, the sales team advised that I would be one of the first to be driving one and that my car would most likely be one of the first they saw (even before the demo). I was a little annoyed that MB Australia (not the dealer) didn't communicate this earlier and that I couldn't be provided a firm date, but I had to live with it. The dealer called again last last week to provide an update and it wasn't good news. While the C200 has finished compliance, the C300 is still a few weeks off (3rd week of September). I know this one is out of Mercedes hands, but it was now starting to impact me as I'd sold my previous car in anticipation of the new one. I complained and to the dealer's credit, I was given a CLA200d loaner until my car arrives. It sounds like a tractor (seriously, who do people buy MB Diesels?) but I'm grateful that the dealer is looking after me. I'm still dying to get hold of my car.
