Perfect, this was one thing I was really thinking about and trying to get some solid answers to, I do agree that docs are better from what I've tested so far. I'd really like to see videos on:
* an ecommerce store flow
- with separate workflows for say product categories
- asking the user questions specific to the category
- when the chatbot first opens, asking key questions off the bat e.g "what are your main skin concerns?" then pointing them to specific products of categories
- using the carousel in an ecommerce flow for pointing to products, also best practices.
* workflow for a lawyer
- connecting to zapier, say for a lawyer client what would be ideal zaps
* wokflow for a tax agent/company
- what could this look like?
- what could zapier do for this workflow?
I'm still learning botpress, but this is such an awesome space to be in!

I just built something like this a few days ago. Two additional thoughts to your video:
- When you build a new Botpress Chatbot from the template "Answer Questions on Documents" like you did, there is a "Smalltalk" knowledge base. Also like you did in your video I did not leave that in but delete it out. However it's actually a great idea to not delete this. That will avoid the awkward answers to the initial "hi" you need to send and gives you control over that.
- You mention Government documents, but I want to caution everyone that the quality might not be what people are looking for. It turns out that the answers by the Botpress AI are just not good enough. My use case was a Law document and for that you need comprehensive answers. What you need is a way to get GPT4 to process that data and give you answers. Now you can do that within the native ChatGPT AI with a PDF plugin, but that of course can't be used to share with clients. Long story short I am still looking for a way to combine a good Chatbot with a knowledge base, and the BotPress AI currently does not cut it for me.

Nice work mate, really good ideas to supercharge the KB. I'd love to see a video where you incorporate a bit more advanced features like integrating Flowise or Stack AI. I hear the system prompts help to give a more personalised answer in the tone of the AI persona for instance. Thanks for another great video!

Quick question... Do you see any advantages or disadvantages in using multiple docs instead of one?
For example, the contact details and opening times of a business could be held in a separate document which explains about their services, and then if there are any changes to opening times (ie around Christmas or Easter), just one specific document would need to be updated and re-learned.
And if a company provides different services, each with their own pricing tiers, FAQs, etc., there could be separate docs for each service.
Of course one document could contain ALL of the above info.
So provided that the information specific to each service, etc., is clearly associated with that service and with no bleed-over to other services, do you have any thoughts on singular v's multiple docs?

Is there any way of having a more dynamic knowledge base, so say, if the original pdf where information was pulled from us updated within a folder. Then the information in your knowledge base gets dynamically updated?

Does original long form content add value in the database, or I should convert all in FAQ format for retrieval ?
Context:
In my company we have about 250 blog posts, that are well written long form content
I inserted all in a vector DB pinecone, and retrieved with langchain, the workflow itself worked, but the retrieval quality varies...
Your great idea of converting the content into a FAQ should improve the answer. In that case, should I keep the original content in the database, together with the FAQ version, or ideally I would keep only the FAQ format?
Leveraging the output into another AI task that kinda says like eg: Imagine You Are a Service Worker at Hotel, .... would be interesting wouldnt it?
Can you make the bot offer to book them a room (in the case of the example) or set an appointment, schedule a consultation, etc? Will it tie into the businesses availability and calendar?
Absolutely! Scheduling a call super simple, integrating with in-house booking platforms is more complex, but all doable

For CZcams starategy. We could only use one video , beacuse in case of London eye, if one transcript says it's top 1 location to visit and other video transcript says it's 10th top location. Won't the bot be confused when the customer asks about London eye ranking to visit .?

How to incorporate APIs in chatbots?
Do you think using the website's site map would be more efficient than a document for automating the bot when there are changes to information? Using the document seems like a manual process. If we scrape the website instead, any updates made by the site owner will automatically be reflected in the bot. What do you think about this idea?

I'll wath your video ASAAP- one thing I notice in usiong the Botpress tutorials- is they say how to include a KB- but then- when I try to get info from the url I specified- the chatbot says it is unable to provide the info- I wondered WHY- as the info is definiotely in the url! I think MAYBE you have solved the pronble,m that Bpotpress foplks did not bother to get down and dirty into the weeds to sort this problem out for me!

Is there any issue with scraping websites of coyrighted content and using that? I mean, I know the right way is to take scraped content and have it reiterated by AI so that it gets reworded, and that's what I will do. But I know some people won't do this, and will just make chatbots that spit out info that is other people's IP.
