Soo units, including GP9 411, along Green St. Trains near 25th Ave. (Rose St.), IHB Norpaul Yard, and CP Grand Ave., Franklin Park.: including CP 500 (eastbound). CP SD40-2s, Montreal Locomotive Works 4- and 6-axle units. CP 4711 re-engined with Caterpillar engine. Leased power from GATX, Helm Leasing, (including Milwaukee SD40 bandit), etc. Soo GP9s. CSX power. IC units at Norpaul. Soo SD60s westbound at Scott St. Soo train 216 westbound at Prospect in Itasca with GP38s. Metra with F40Cs and F40PHs..

    The whole Bandit GP40/Soo GP38-2 combo was pretty standard for a long while. Never heard why SOO decided to do that. They pretty much match up nealry all the GP40's like that. Do remeber seeing the occasional Bandit GP38-2/SOO GP40, but nealry as often. It's not like SOO was regualrly teaming their own 40 with the 38's before the merger. never heard the reasoning why they decided to do that.
