Beginners luck is over with, now you start to learn how to fish, I notice the first spot was muddy waters, those conditions use lures that make a sound in the water or smelly baits, depending on whether you're going after predators or grazers, for predators like Bass, Cod, mackerel, pollock use spoons (spinners or wobblers) feathers, use your baits on the bottom, for the scavengers and grazers like conger, rays, flat etc, Come September need to keep a watchful eye out for Tuna, you are on tuna run track as they head north to the feeding grounds, they will take a fish that you have caught when you reel it in, also sharks will do the same

I don't know the area, but generally you would be looking for clear water for lure fishing. That looked a bit coloured so maybe bait would be a better bet. The wind farm clarity looked better suited to lure fishing.

They where on the Dee estuary which opens up to the Irish sea, so one side is North Wales and the other is the Deeside of the Wirral peninsula. Where they launch their boat was at Prestatyn North Wales coast. My cousin and l used to fish around 10 miles out from North Wales coast back in the 80's. hope this helps

Try reeling the bait up a bit closer to the rod tip. With it dangling you run the risk of snagging one of the other rigs, boat, or a fishing partner! From the beach, no issue.
Experience here! When I was a kid I stuck a hook under my uncle’s wedding ring! I know it hurt but he was very cool and kind to me as he cut off the barb and pulled the remainder of the hook from his finger!
    He liked me…..
Oh and maybe try throwing the bait around the wind turbine bases! Fish love “cover”.

We use to fish about 3/4 miles out from Rhyl in clear water, at anchor, use to put a onion sack full of old smelly ground up fish attached to the anchor line and every so often give a good shake to release fish bits to leave a scent trail to attract fish. Also the is a brilliant CZcams channel called TA fishing he covers all aspects of fishing especially for beginners. 🐟🐟🐟🦈🦈🦈

Reels - you had the multiplyer name correct, but the other one that Gemma was using is - an open-face spinning reel. With a bit of practice, it's a lot easier to get a distant cast than with a multiplyer, which is prone to tangling (birds-nesting) the line. Just remember, before you open the bale-arm (the springy wire hoop bit!) you hook the line around a finger, so it can't just fall off the reel, and the trick is to release the line from the finger after you start the cast, but before you finish it, so the line can run out over the end of the spool. - - You shouldn't run the engine with the prop out of the water, it needs the water flowing through for cooling.

Generally the base or near-base of the windmills might be productive in the same way that oil rig legs are, though maybe less so since they probably don't have the open lattice work of oil rig legs. Smaller fish get battered on them through the waves and currents, and become attractive to much larger fish and up the food chain. Bigger bottom feeders are there taking in what comes down from the feeding above. At the top are the predatory attackers taking advantage of the less strong species. I didn't see any in your video, but are there "no fishing signs" or "no fishing with XXX feet"? That would negate this idea!
