Did You Know In SHREK FOREVER AFTER…

- The main villain of the movie, Rumpelstiltskin, actually borrows elements from the main villains of previous movies in the Shrek franchise. He is very short and is desperate for power, much like Lord Farquaad in Shrek. He has magical powers that he can use for others but can also use for his own personal gain in some way, like the Fairy Godmother in Shrek 2. Finally, his life has been ruined by Fiona being rescued from her tower by Shrek, like Prince Charming in Shrek The Third.

Did you know that Rumpelstiltskin is also the only main villain in a Shrek film to not die? Unlike the previous main villains.
Yo... that's true
He also changed looks from Shrek the 3rd movie to this movie seriously check the difference sorry it wasnt the2nd one it was the 3rd
they equate it by killing his pet in the end credits
If I remember correctly he kinda gets erassed from existence
Wait i thought he got eaten.
“That’s the point of the mask, shrek”
NAH😭
YAHR
AIN'T NO WAY💀💀💀
"Sign this contract, and ALL of your fans will disappear, Shrek"
Shrek then gets accused of talking to little girls
@@derekg5006 BAHAHA
Dream this, Dream that. Nah, son. That is Shane Dawson.
You mean the guy who gave the kitties his package?
yea, like am i the only one who saw it? Once someone even put dreams face somewhere and at first i was unironically like, “Oh is this a Shane Dawson meme?”
ohbshit he do look like shane
@@LuckClover1 yeah the guy who butt f*cked his cats and bragged about it
@@melt_brain lol
I've not been the same since people started comparing this dude to dream 💀
me neither, it feels unreal, like a *_dream_*
They look so much alike it’s acc unreal lmao
Hehe, he do look a bit like old Dream
HSHSHHAHAHAHA
I'm sorry WHAT
As soon as I saw Rumpelstiltskin, I knew what half these comments would be 💀
Same
Same 💀
You mean dream?
we all knew
And they all looked like dream
Did you know in Shrek Forever After, Shrek can be seen walking.
This is a throwback to him walking in the first movie.
Omg Shrek WALKED?????!?1111😱😱😱😱
Truly an amazing little nugget from the writing team
😮😮😮🤯🤯🤯😮🤯🤩🤩🤩😮😮🤩🤯🤯🤯😮😮🤩🤯😮😲😲🤩😯🤯😯🙀🙀🤯🙌🙌🤯😲🤩😊
@@jayhail445 Yes he walked so Disney could run
Yeah he walked and scared away some villagers
Did you know Rumpelstilskin is actually from an old German story and his name is actually spelled Rumpelstilzchen
I searched for thqt so long
I think that's what he is about
Ok
Yes in the original story he makes a deal with a girl, he will help her but she has to give him her first born child. The only way to keep her child is if she knows his name, wich she doesn't. At the end of the story she figures his name out and he rips himself in half out of anger.
....we have strange fairytales here😅
@@annaio21He was a idiot for literally singing his own name while it was supposed to be a secret
If I had a nickel for every time Shrek antagonized a midget who wants to be a king, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
🤣🤣🤣
Hhahahahaha
Clever and original
Fangirls: omg dream is so hot

Lmao
At least he isn't ugly unlike you lol
@@NobodyWantsWendys bro you don’t even know what I look like 💀

Where is ulquiorra? I don't see his emo design anywhere
I almost smiled
I cackled sorry
Main aspect of Shreks first three villains. Magic, revenge and short
But there is one thing he managed to do what every other villain (and Dream) couldn't: Literally ruling the entire Kingdom and let true love and happiness disappear
And he legitimately almost won. He almost made Shrek not exist and almost took control of everything.
He's honestly the best villain of the franchise, the Fairy Godmother being a super close second.
Would Farquaad stand a good chance fighting him?
@@Kenny-ep2nf Farquaad would send someone else to fight him.
@@gayjayy would it have worked in his favour you reckon?
@@Kenny-ep2nf Unless Rumple somehow got the fighter to sign a contract, probably. Rumple's not much of a physical fighter.
@@gayjayy yeah exactly, Rumpel is more of a deceiver than he is a fighter
Don't forget he band other people together to kill Shrek with a promise to give them what they wanted like Charming did in Shrek the Third
Oh, yeah!
So I guess Rumpel really is the Final Boss of the Shrek series. Would have been neat to see the past villains still alive in the Alternate Timeline he created, I did think we'd get a Farquaad cameo at the very least
This is why Rumpel always felt like a worthy “final boss” to me. He’s got all the elements of shrek’s past enemies, but he’s also got a competent army and the whole world under his thumb.
what’s with all these cringe “dream” comments
Dream did a face reveal, and people, being people, have been making fun of him since then, that's about it.
When you say Rumplestilstkin all I can think of is, “all magic comes with a price” 😂
it's the laugh
Did you also know the person who voiced rumple Walt Dohrn was actually supposed to be a place holder. The director loved it so much they told him to play the part
Why did I hear “lord fart quads” 😭💀
What’s Shrek the Third? They only had Shrek, Shrek 2, and Shrek Foreverafter
It’s some knock-off that people consider part of the series
@@Pod-o-Peas that makes sense
@@Pod-o-Peas yea you can tell by the drop of quality from the other ones
Yeah, like most dreamworks side works, they aren't canon to the main plot.
Except httyd's TV shows, those are very canon.
It it’s cannon, but kinda like dragon ball gt which it’s cannon just another universe where dreamworks became cheap and low quality
Bro that’s dream
I thought he looked familiar
Leave that man alone😭
I thought he is Shane Dawson
Might be his twin brother
@@violetrose674 Yeah leave Dream and his look alike alone, they didn't do anything bad.
Did you you know that Shrek: Forever After,
Shrek is in it.
He gets this from all the previous movies
"That's what the mask is. That's what the point of the mask is"

There was a rumplestiltskin in the bar (or whatever its called) seen in shrek 3. Charming asks him about the newborn he was promised. And now theres this rumplestiltkin. Me and my family were like thats gotta be a plothole
Easiest way is Forever after IS shrek 3 because my god 3 is so bad we should all collectively retcon the film
@@renomiz2373 shrek forever after is mediocre and unoriginal so as far as I’m concerned, the shrek franchise is a duology.
@@bqw2094 why is it mediocre and unoriginal?
@@ancovisser2424 because it’s just a rehash of “ it’s a wonderful life”
@@ancovisser2424 ming harold never would have signed a contract with rumple because he already had one with the fairy godmother, also rumple had already been introduced in the third movie, but they redid his design for the 4th, and even IF king harold signed the contract, how come the fairy godmother couldn’t do anything? Why didn’t she just poof him away? Idk it was a money grab for me, this series should have been a trilogy
Me after somebody says Rumpelstiltskin and not Rumpelstilzchen:
This Movie was the best Movie ever, but after knowing there wasn't gonna be anymore Shrek Films it devastated me knowing my first Shrek Film in a Movie Theater was the Final Shrek Film that was ever gonna be shown
The second I saw Rump Daddy my mind immediately went to *D R E A M*
…Excuse me??? “Rump Daddy”??? 😭💀😭
I'm HOLLERING. RUMP DADDY🥺💀😭😭😭
"Rump daddy" 💀
There was also a plot hole in the Shrek movies, where Rumpelstiltskin is in the 3rd Shrek movie playing a minor role but then he was reintroduced in the 4th movie.
Did you know in Shrek Forever After, the main villain, Dream-
I still don't understand how Rumpelstiltskin got this design when he was shown in Shrek the Third and was completely different
Yeah, they did that with another character idk who it was tho
They saw a picture of Dream
I think it’s due to his circumstances
"Dont say it dont say it dont say it dont say it."
How to Write a Final Villain for a Movie Franchise: Make the Villain a Compination of all the villains the Hero faced Till now.
Prince Charming is the best antagonist in shrek franchise.
Is it just me or was he also a funny villain?
He wasn't really a villain, he just had no choice and to be one
Dream 💀💀
“Did you know that in ‘Shrek: Forever After’, the main villain is dream?”
Yo dream, why did you want to fight Shrek? 💀
Shane Dawson
broooo they animated dream in shreak forever after? thats crazy
This guy is a fusion of these 3 other villains
Does anyone else notice that if it weren't for Shrek, there would just be one villain plotting against another? They NEEDED Shrek!
There’s also the fact that Rumpelstiltskin is the only character who has been entirely retconned. We saw him once before in the bar that Charming goes to on his recruiting mission.
Yeah and I think the reason he didn’t go after Shrek as much before was because he didn’t know that he was the one who rescued Fiona, but now that he saw that Fiona is married to Shrek he realised that Shrek is the one who foiled his plan to take over far far away
@@Kenny-ep2nf well I mean NOBODY in far far away knew, hell the only reason the envoy with the invitation found them is because they probably asked around.
Didi you know that Rumplestiltskin is technically a reoccurring villain in the Shrek franchise along with Prince Charming.
That's because he's there in the 3rd movie but is a totally different character
i always thought he was playing an act
Rumpelstiltskin:❌️
Dream✔️
The comments 💀
When I think “Rumplestilkskin”
I giggle and say dearie
Hey, I get the reference- too bad I forgot the name of the show-
The name of the show is Once Upon A Time:)
One more connection to Farquad is that he made a deal with Shrek.
I always wondered. If shrek was never born, whatever happened to the last three villains?
Farquaad probably lost Duloc after a series of battles between him and Rumpel, Rumpel probably took over the place and had Farquaad expelled. Prince Charming wouldn’t be bothered going to rescue Fiona if it no longer gave him power, so he probably just went on about his usual thing.
I think that it would have been interesting to see a tragic villain in the Shrek universe. The closest we have to one is Humpty Dumpty
This channel will go far remember me
One of the main proofs that 3rd Shrek did not exist is that apparently all real Shrek villains are meant to be short and I love it
So he’s basically a combination of the previous 3 villains
Underrated villain
"He also claimed the appearence of dr-"
"dr ligma"
And also did you know the main antagonist of Shrek forever after looks like Dream.
Rumplestiltskin wears a mask with a smile-
Ayo its dream
no it's nightmare
Ayooo Dream?
Daaaamn 69
Isn't it crazy how well they tie all the movies together by a singular thread. The Fairy Tale trope of a princess being saved from a tower. But most just forget how many people's lives are screwed up by the singular action. Makes you appreciate something good, how interesting it is.
Hopefully whoever the main villain in Shrek 5 ends up being is able to be just as good
What’s dream doing in a Shrek movie ☠️
OMG Dream really did Star In a Movie! 🍿 🎥
So he's like the ultimate final boss.
I like how one of Rumple’s and Farquad’s similarities in this is that they’re both short😂
Almost all of the comments
: DREAM?
The main villain of the movie, Dream
"ok guys we need another unique villain" "nah man that's too much work, just put the last 3 together"
Bro bout to start a speed run💀
Did you know that Runpelstiltskin is also the only main villain in a Shrek film to be based on Shane Dawson
That’s literally what I said!
Dream was my favorite Shrek villan
The Fairy Godmother fits all of these criteria.
The wildcard out of the bunch
Looks like I'm not the only one thinking of what everyone else is thinking of
Dream?
Bro was that busted and still lost
Actually you forgot one more, his Dream chin
Bro I literally died laughing when I heard rumplestiltskins name.😂
“That’s what the point of the mask is”
The main villain dream
That’s because Sherk learns from his Mistakes
Do you mean Dream?
I DIDN'T KNOW DREAM DID A FACE REVEAL WAY BACK THEN
Man they did my man dirty he’s my favorite villain
How did they do him dirty?
This is EXACTLY like how Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and General Grievous all foreshadow separate elements of Darth Vader

He is the one who knocks cause he cant reach the doorbell
Bro has all the power dude he got the infinity stones
Why does Rumpelstiltskin look like my home room teacher-
You know that Rumpelstiltskin is depicted as a rather short character traditionally in folklore he’s similar to a goblin but all his attributes are accurate to his original character in his story
I like how you said "Rummmpelllstillllskinnn" xD
