If watching this tier list taught me one thing, it’s that the devs don’t know how to balance this game man, not to suggest that I’m a master at game design myself. At least in my opinion.

It's crazy dude. I always think "Man purple dabi sucks" but then whenever I play him I just end up dominating more easily than most other characters. I can't tell if it's dumb luck or if he's actually really good..

I think All Might's alphas need to do the hard knockdowns after hitting a certain amount, they melt literally everyone and with the splash damage it makes it near impossible to miss grounded characters.

You've placed Kaminari way too low. Your explanation for him being midtier is because he gets focused on by everyone? You can say the same thing about every other character except mirio. His whole kit is amazing, the Beta has a lot of utility; can use the beta to hit opponents who use shield like Kendo, Momo and Mirio. You don't have to hold it all the way the shockwave pushes the opponent so they don't have a chance to strike you back. at level 9 its busted; great Damage n range, Decimates opponents, hits through walls, scares/wards off opponents. With a good Kaminari teammate, you can easily obliterate teams and win. I would easily place him low S tier just because of the trash special action and I agree they should completely change it.
An idea I had for shiggy special action that could be a bit op. Is to have it be an install. So u press the button, then your next alpha, sends a wave that applies the special action to anyone it hits
That's a cool idea, I think with a long cooldown that could be really good. And then the alpha could destroy Cementoss well. The main issue is, Strike Shiggy needs a buff but Assault doesn't need one at all 💀 so if they reworked it like that, they'd need to tone down Assault for sure
I'd argue the gamma going on cooldown after detransforming would probably throw her more in line with the rest of the cast. Granted this would still give for better potential then an afo for cooldown negation thanks to her special action on downed enemies but I feel since that has risk to the toga its alot more interesting than the gamma style now.
I think this was a super fair tier list and definitely took into account who could use some help and who DEFINITELY doesn’t need it lol. Just wanted to quickly comment on my mains. Tech Dabi: Really fun, still my one and only, been playing him since Season 1. He has so much room for skill expression and I always feel like a massive genius with a good trap or by spacing my gamma correctly for maximum damage. Two buffs I’d like to see: armor on gamma and maybe a ground speed buff to make up for the lack of mobility. Uraraka: Been playing less of her this season because she just does not feel good. Even with all her mobility it’s wayyy too easy to make one mistake and die for it. Like you said, she also just takes so much effort. Idk how they could potentially buff her but I hope they think of something Momo: Picked her up this season! Super fun, I’ve said that she’s “Tech Dabi” but better. A lot of the game sense you need for Tech Dabi carries over to her really well. Agree that she should get invincibility on her shield rush, maybe in exchange for the duration being shorter. Strike Dabi: Needs a tracking nerf on beta. I’d probably nerf the pulsating effect on gamma too maybe make it go from five seconds to every ten? He just gets out of way too many situations for free. His cooldowns could probably use a nerf too. In exchange for all that I hope they buff his alpha a bit because it’s no fun to get off four shots and then get put in cooldown…
Technical Dabi gotta be B Tier, I used to main him so maybe I might be biased but his B is a instant thirst, he doesn’t have mobility but his ground speed is good and he can drop traps in the air, his Y does damage and it blocks attacks, and his A tracks more than any quick on the game. Not to mention his self revive. Only thing Ibara does over him is instant revive his teammates.
Iida is my top opp. He can do almost 200 damage in 1 string, the beta has a INSANE hitbox and armor and once u land some hits he’s almost impossible to catch. Other then him yeah Assault shiggy is a PROBLEM and the hit stun of compress is odhee
The one way to fix tech dabi is to make his flame wall shield a Dome, so it at least protects bim from almight shots from above, also i dont think his gama punishes people enogh for getting inside the middle, it used to, but instead make the burn from blue flames last longer than red that would be better than increasing the overall damage.
Toga really is in just such a funny situation where she has one of the lowest skill floors since he's insanely easy to learn.. While also having LITERALLY the highest skill ceiling since the only way to be a "master" of toga is being a "master" of literally every character. Otherwise you're technically not a master of toga.
This is going to be a bit of a tangent, but i'm honestly a little tired of seeing people gass red deku up as being some kind of monster all of a sudden, so i feel like i should set the record straight. Keep in mind i'm speaking as someone who plays on PC only. First of all, Red Deku deals 105 damage at lvl 9 when all his alpha bullets hit, not 120. And i feel like comparing his damage to season 1 is a bit disengenous, since the class 1A big three had comparable damage, while also having alpha's that were better in every single other way, with them not knocking down, firing faster, having better range, being actually accurate and consistent and usually having more bullets too, with yellow deku even having the snipe shot. Red Deku's alpha doesn't even come close to being a good comparison, let's be honest. Second, the problem with calling for alpha nerfs for red Deku is that it's not as clear cut of a change as most people like to think it is. Most people only see the high damage of his alpha when it hits all the bullets when they think about his alpha, not realizing that for every time we land a full hit, we land just as many if not arguably more shots that do varying low levels of damage because not all bullets hit. Just lowering the damage on his alpha is not only going to mean that characters like yellow deku, red bakugou, all might, all for one or really any characters that have good long range alphas are able to dominate him even more from a long range since their alpha's already have better fire rate and require no ADS which allows them to just hipfire, it also means that any missed shot goes from doing potentially bad damage to horrible damage. I also find it odd how these complaints about his alpha have only now suddenly popped up, as you yourself have admitted to calling the character mid before when his alpha had been the same back then. The only real change they made to any of his damage is giving him 10 to 20 more damage on his beta depending on its size and letting it get bigger faster, both of these only being applicable when used after a gamma jump (Which inherently leaves him open to be shot at) or when from a tall structure (Which isn't always available). His knockdowns usually give you enough I frames to at least not be helpless, even if he does close in on you with his melee attacks, which is a stark difference to the fat load of nothing you can do whenever you are stunlocked by any of the insane hitstun moves in the game that other characters have, only to then be instantly beamed down till you're dead. The only compromise i can think of that wouldn't absolutely gut the character if they were to ever nerf his alpha damage, is for them to also narrow the spread on his ADS alpha so hitting all shots is more consistent, since there's honestly a lot of times it looks like you hit all of them just for the game to give you 60 damage instead. But if i had to choose a nerf, i'd rather they just revert his health buff, since that's the only change i feel i don't think he necesarily needed even if it does fit his playstyle, considering he's predominantly an upclose melee character without any superarmor at all. I feel like if his alpha was really the problem people make it out to be, this outcry about his alpha damage would have just happened on his release, instead of months after. Now it just feels like a knee-jerk reaction because he was played more after going on banner and people never actually bothered to learn how to deal with him, since he was always just written off. Add to that the fact that him going on banner was accompanied by him getting some buffs and people have now locked onto him being a problem when all he has ever received are QOL buffs and he was completely ignored before. In my honest opinion, people should just actually learn how to fight him properly, instead of just crying for nerfs instantly. Instead of complaining that his alpha does so much damage, learn how to move and dodge in a way that makes it so it's harder for him to land all shots. Instead of complaining about his beta, learn to keep a certain distance away from him so you can react if he decides to throw it out. Instead of complaining about his gamma, shoot him down while he's vulnerable in the air, instead of just letting him get away with it for free. Unlike some other characters (Toga literally always having her beta off cooldown. Twice, yellow shiggy and mount lady being able to stun lock you and shred your hp for just being hit once. All might having almost no real flaws, having the damage of a strike, super armor of an assault, and mobility of a rapid.) he actually has counter play; if you don't bother to learn how to employ that counterplay, that's not the red Deku's fault.
I main technical Dabi and I level up Alpha then Gamma because there is only 1 charge of gamma and it’s close range only the Gamma still destroys shields with utter ease combined with the Alpha is a deadly combo at that The beta is useful for escaping because you can place them for others to run into Alpha is easy to dodge however if you can fire around 3 it is difficult to dodge and if the person is low they would do most likely be panicking and would struggle to dodge So I believe that technical Dabi is at minimum B and maximum A

Aside from Kendo (lol) all the positions is about play style, in my honest opinion: S: Red Deku, Twice, All Might, All for One, Yellow Shigaraki, Endeavor, Mirio A: Toga, Cementoss, Red Dabi, Iida, Kaminari Shoto, Yellow Deku, Mr. Compress, Red Bakugou B: Blue Bakugou, Aisawa, Mt. Lady, Tsuyu, Red Shigaraki, Kirishima C: Purple Dabi, Uraraka, Ibara D: Kendo
Kendo is defintely not that bad, there is a youtuber who has made a guide and even match up videos for kendo and she is actually good and has some decent enough movment with gliding but mainly her combos are not only fun and good damage with her shield you can do so much more but even just basic kendo stuff is pretty good
@@justkay1819 she's fun, but compared with everyone else, there are better options for damage and fun. Ibara was on the same level previous season, but now she got a pretty good buff that made her decent not only as support but as damage character, maybe if they make Kendo's rocks range going far that it is now, she'll be way better, her Alpha is pretty bad and her only good damage is huge hands.

I was about to say some stuff about this til I realized you meant for fun lol. Toga's the most fun character for me TBH but that's because I don't only use her beta.. Being able to 1v1 someone as their own character is just so insanely fun.

I think the nerfs to toga, and assualt shigi were enough to lower toga to bottom of s and assualt shigi to high mid A. Toga is still quite effective and assualt shigi can also be quite effective but neither are breaking the game. Also for red deku you kinda cant nerf alpha dmg. Sure it hitting for over 100 is absurd but that comes with a major drawback. The knockdown is a genuine drawback that keeps alpha balanced. Now i agree that his alpha is absurd and probably the best in the game rn however if you nerf the dmg to even 95 at lv 9 its the worst alpha in the game all of a sudden. If it loses dmg make it only effect lv9 and make lv9 hit for 110 instead of 115. Nerf cooldowns, charges, even fire rate just leave the dmg in tact. Im the best full bullet on playstation and i can say that alpha is not his biggest problem right now either. Its just whats making him so simple yet effective to play. Everything else is more complicated and (arguably) more powerful

That’s why I always say endeavors alpha is the best in the game because what do you do ever since aim assist came back like the way it was in season two yeah you pretty much just cannot do anything against this guy. If you get caught even once in this guy is crosshairs he’s obliterating you.
what do you mean tech dabi is S tier obviously (for me he's A tier but that's just cause he's my main and i average 8 kos every game with him) in all seriousness i think my problem with this game is that people focus on mobility too much like yes it's important but it should always be what makes a character instantly bad tech dabi for example can stop all mobility easily with traps and gamma i never have a problem chasing people cause they never get to run to begin with
Little retrospective on my opinions of Tech Dabi...I wanted to like this character so bad, I really did. The problem with tech dabi to me is that he heavily relies on your opponents being bad in regard to the traps. If you know what tech dabi wants to do you probably won't be running into traps. I feel like a trap character doesn't thrive in this type of game. His alpha is bad, period. Between low damage and how easy it is to dodge and too long cool down for someone who is a technical. His gamma is a really good move and should be the center of play but it can't carry the whole character. The special action being a self revive is a cool little niche thing for him, but more often than not when you go down you are getting hard focused to death. Even if you do get it, he has no mobility to get away. The new map definitely helped him out imo. With this also being a 3v3 game, I have a hard time finding a role for dabi in team comp. He doesn't have the damage to be a DPS, his gamma isn't enough to provide any real direct support, and he can't play hit and run either when 3/4 of the cast can fly after you at mach 10. All around just a disappointing character to me.
i have zero problems playing dabi probably cause i've been doing it since the beta and his alpha actually can work very well if you use it differently he's a high skill dependent anyway i'm not ranting yes he isn't great how well it goes depends on how much the player knows the character it's not like i can switch to strike dabi being my main it would be boring i don't even use the beta for damage when i play him cause the tracking is obsurd so i'm sticking with purple honestly the only thing i think makes tech dabi bad is his gamma having no armour also don't spam traps as tech dabi it leaves you open use them to block and proctile then fire off waves of attacks if the it can be slow sometimes but if they're too busy dodging 3 out of 4 alphas they'll never hit you back also gamma is an amazing offensive tool i am not diminishing your opinion it's completely valid this is just how i see him

It just needs another buff or gamma buff instead of all these random fireball buffs, then he's solid fs. I used to alpha max with Dabi in season 3 but his main DPS is beta and gamma fr. That's what I'm learning. I actually hit 10K damage today, 12 KOs with him again on ranked, and old map btw 3kd on solo queue but straight annoying, and more a chore at times so I get what you mean.

I main technical Dabi and I level up Alpha then Gamma because there is only 1 charge of gamma and it’s close range only the Gamma still destroys shields with utter ease combined with the Alpha is a deadly combo at that
The beta is useful for escaping because you can place them for others to run into
Alpha is easy to dodge however if you can fire around 3 it is difficult to dodge and if the person is low they would do most likely be panicking and would struggle to dodge
So I believe that technical Dabi is at minimum B and maximum A

S: Red Deku, Twice, All Might, All for One, Yellow Shigaraki, Endeavor, Mirio
A: Toga, Cementoss, Red Dabi, Iida, Kaminari Shoto, Yellow Deku, Mr. Compress, Red Bakugou
B: Blue Bakugou, Aisawa, Mt. Lady, Tsuyu, Red Shigaraki, Kirishima
C: Purple Dabi, Uraraka, Ibara
D: Kendo
Kendo is defintely not that bad, there is a youtuber who has made a guide and even match up videos for kendo and she is actually good and has some decent enough movment with gliding but mainly her combos are not only fun and good damage with her shield you can do so much more but even just basic kendo stuff is pretty good
@@justkay1819 she's fun, but compared with everyone else, there are better options for damage and fun.
Ibara was on the same level previous season, but now she got a pretty good buff that made her decent not only as support but as damage character, maybe if they make Kendo's rocks range going far that it is now, she'll be way better, her Alpha is pretty bad and her only good damage is huge hands.
@mateusduarte4333 For me she was the easiest get to ace with, honestly if you know her bnb combo and how to parry with her shield getting kills is easy I just wish her special action was different or could revive at least

everyone play style is different some would have assault deku ranked low while some have him ranked high 🤷🏽 it’s just ur play style imo

I think the nerfs to toga, and assualt shigi were enough to lower toga to bottom of s and assualt shigi to high mid A. Toga is still quite effective and assualt shigi can also be quite effective but neither are breaking the game. Also for red deku you kinda cant nerf alpha dmg. Sure it hitting for over 100 is absurd but that comes with a major drawback. The knockdown is a genuine drawback that keeps alpha balanced. Now i agree that his alpha is absurd and probably the best in the game rn however if you nerf the dmg to even 95 at lv 9 its the worst alpha in the game all of a sudden. If it loses dmg make it only effect lv9 and make lv9 hit for 110 instead of 115. Nerf cooldowns, charges, even fire rate just leave the dmg in tact. Im the best full bullet on playstation and i can say that alpha is not his biggest problem right now either. Its just whats making him so simple yet effective to play. Everything else is more complicated and (arguably) more powerful

what do you mean tech dabi is S tier obviously (for me he's A tier but that's just cause he's my main and i average 8 kos every game with him) in all seriousness i think my problem with this game is that people focus on mobility too much like yes it's important but it should always be what makes a character instantly bad tech dabi for example can stop all mobility easily with traps and gamma i never have a problem chasing people cause they never get to run to begin with
Little retrospective on my opinions of Tech Dabi...I wanted to like this character so bad, I really did. The problem with tech dabi to me is that he heavily relies on your opponents being bad in regard to the traps. If you know what tech dabi wants to do you probably won't be running into traps. I feel like a trap character doesn't thrive in this type of game. His alpha is bad, period. Between low damage and how easy it is to dodge and too long cool down for someone who is a technical. His gamma is a really good move and should be the center of play but it can't carry the whole character. The special action being a self revive is a cool little niche thing for him, but more often than not when you go down you are getting hard focused to death. Even if you do get it, he has no mobility to get away. The new map definitely helped him out imo. With this also being a 3v3 game, I have a hard time finding a role for dabi in team comp. He doesn't have the damage to be a DPS, his gamma isn't enough to provide any real direct support, and he can't play hit and run either when 3/4 of the cast can fly after you at mach 10. All around just a disappointing character to me.
i have zero problems playing dabi probably cause i've been doing it since the beta and his alpha actually can work very well if you use it differently he's a high skill dependent anyway i'm not ranting yes he isn't great how well it goes depends on how much the player knows the character it's not like i can switch to strike dabi being my main it would be boring i don't even use the beta for damage when i play him cause the tracking is obsurd so i'm sticking with purple honestly the only thing i think makes tech dabi bad is his gamma having no armour also don't spam traps as tech dabi it leaves you open use them to block and proctile then fire off waves of attacks if the it can be slow sometimes but if they're too busy dodging 3 out of 4 alphas they'll never hit you back also gamma is an amazing offensive tool i am not diminishing your opinion it's completely valid this is just how i see him
@@nicholaspalazzo3898think of it like this, his beta can block projectiles, melee characters can't go in you, and a instakill. It just needs another buff or gamma buff instead of all these random fireball buffs, then he's solid fs. I used to alpha max with Dabi in season 3 but his main DPS is beta and gamma fr. That's what I'm learning. I actually hit 10K damage today, 12 KOs with him again on ranked, and old map btw 3kd on solo queue but straight annoying, and more a chore at times so I get what you mean.
