A cover of King Of Fighters 2002 Ultimate Match OST - Cutting Edge, the theme of the sub-boss Krizalid.
I've heard the KOF ALL STAR version of Krizalid's old theme from KOF '99 and decided to cover his '2002 UM theme, which is, in my opinion, a bit more badass.

This is very similar to the original (which I had to listen for the first time, too). But your cover sounds more synthwave-ish to me. And idk why, but your track has made me think about Contra Hard Corps but when I've listened to its soundtrack to refresh my memories, it was nothing like that. Still, I have to share this strange thing.
Btw, what tools and instruments did you use?
Yeah, I did go for the sound that would be similar to the original, just with a better quality.
The DAW is FL Studio.
Guitars are Ample Metal Eclipse II.
Drum samples are the stock ones that come with FL Studio.
Bass is Ample Metal Ray5 II.
I don't remember what exact synth I used for the melodic part, but the more "growly" one is Serum.
