i wanted to ask this question but i couldnt, i saw your video on long headed grasshopper, i found a similar cone headed grass hopper, do u know how to care for em? what should i feed it just any grass like spinach? it ate a little spinach, but if i give it corn brown ants start swarming , should i still give em corn? should i keep them in a box to protect from something attacking it ? ive seen pigeons or lizards around here, how often should i water it?
How cool. I've never tried to keep one as a pet. But they eat mostly leaves. Just put some natural leaves in a critter keeper each day but keep one important thing in mind. Grasshoppers have very very short life spans. They only live a couple of months. You can keep one for a pet for a few days, but it's important not to get too attached to them. I like to keep insects like that for about a day just to look at them a lot. But I always set them loose again.
@@AutistiVision so u recommend to put in some sort of terrarium is that so to protect it from outside dangers? or should i just leave it as it is, its near my window i put it on the ledge, at first it was in my bedroom door but i made it grab onto a spinach stick and now its near the window and it ate some spinach
@@AutistiVision so its been revisting every morning for 2 days but today morning it hasn't . today they sprayed the whole street with mosquito bug spray, could that have killed it? :( incase it returns i have a class jar with a tissue lid should i put it in that with leaves and soil?

@@pnutdraws It might be ok, just be aware that a lot of things eat grass hoppers!
