Congratulation! I understand your regrets completely as I graduated from UBC mechanical engineering. My husband got accepted to BCS (2nd degree computer science program) last year with mechanical engineering degree from UBC.
I remember there was almost no fun during the school time. It's always a trade off between your grade and your university life (whether it's for fun or for extra challenge). Especially if you try to graduate in 5 years including co-op with decent grades, there will be almost no fun...

If you're going in the right direction, everything will somehow fall into place,it's all about taking action, and don't worry about missing out or having regrets during your time in university. What really mattered was completing the race to graduation. All those other things you wanted? They aren't going anywhere, trust me. You'll meet new friends, have new experiences, and live life to the fullest. Your life is just commencing, and you have a full and exciting journey ahead of you. Funny ending haha and regarding your post grad time? Hmm, how about applying, applying, and applying lol jkjk maybe try something new like an MMA sport, learn a new language (not a coding one), enjoy some gaming, or dive into reading books. Congratulations Sarah!!đ„łđ€, I am a 2nd year Computer Science and Information Systems major, last year I used to lock myself out because I have social anxiety, but this year I decided to get out more, talk to more people, I joined the house committee in my residence as a student network rep(helping students connect to the internet, printers etc), Iâm tutoring Computer Science(Python and Java), and I have also joined archeryđso far everything is going well, except I hated computer architecture(assembly) in the first semesterđ«it was too low for me.
