Thank you. I love Dimash and I love your Dimash reactions. I'm also a metal fan but since discovering Dimash I can only listen to him and only listen to others occasionally. I've been to 4 Dimash concerts last year and I'm longing for more. Everything is unique about him. Not only his vocal talent but his repertoire is also so diverse that it is impossible to get bored. OK. but he wasn't on the Rolling stone's "The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time" so it's kind of bold to say: "Dimash is easily the greatest vocalist of our time." but clearly it's your subjective opinion, which you are entitled.It's just kind of immature and at the same time hilarious how different fanbases always claim that their chosen singer is the best in the world. Such thing doesn't exist.

Besides, Dimash will certainly not make the list until he’s known in the US/Western countries, which is next to impossible for any foreign Independent Artist, let alone one from Central Asia. Why? No big labels behind him promoting him worldwide, like the far lesser talented pop singers out there! That being said, it’s his choice not to sign with them so as to preserve his artistic freedom.
Otherwise, of course, if you have a favorite singer, you’ll consider him/her being the best (because he or she moves you, you enjoy listening to their voices and music the most, etc…). Bottom line, it all comes down to personal preferences. However, Dimash is objectively the perfect vocalist: ability to emote, mastery of various vocal techniques and styles, beautiful melismas, incredible airy voice, powerful belting, sounds beautiful in any range, incredible vocal dynamics, and so forth… But, it doesn’t mean that you’re going to enjoy his voice or music, hence he’s not the best (subjective); although his insane mastery of anything vocal makes him the perfect vocalist, that you may, yet again, appreciate or not.

@@jaanahedemaki6993 Wow… Obviously, you didn’t get what I wrote at all. Is Dimash the best? Well, that’s subjective, that was my very point. Regardless of how talented an artist is, one may not enjoy listening to their voices or music, since it comes down to one’s personal taste.
However, whether you like it or not, Dimash is a masterful vocalist and can do it all: treble, runs, melismas, etc, hence the “perfect” vocalist. He’s not limited by either his vocal range or vocal abilities, nor by a lack of solid techniques. He indeed has a Master’s in vocals. In 2014, he graduated in Classical Music with a Major in Vocal (Bel Canto) from the music institute of K. Zhubanov University in Aktob, Kazakhstan. You may not know that Dimash is indeed classically trained: he even declined a position as an opera singer when he was only 22; not mentioning that he is any composer’s dream such as Igor Krutoy and Zaia Piergiuseppe. To top it all, he also has absolute pitch (a rare cognitive trait by the way) which was discovered when he was only 4 or 5 years old.
Thus, he’s objectively the perfect vocalist in the sense that he can do it all on a vocal standpoint. Now, you don’t like his voice or music, that’s a whole different story. Again, taste in music has nothing to do with how talented an artist is or not. Jeez…

I 💯 agree about Nightwish and understand your choice of Dimash, as even though he does not sing in a style of music that I like, his talent is undeniable. My second favorite band is missing from you repertoire though and that is The Warning. If you like good old hard rock, I strongly suggest giving them a watch. They just started posting pro shot live recordings of performances from their biggest show to date on their CZcams channel.

Happy New Year musical brother 😊 it's a weird transition from when I was a kid and we'd bring record albums over to our friends houses all pumped up saying DUUUDE CHECK IT OUT MAN YOU GOTTA PUT THIS ON LETS PUFF ONE LOL.
I'm familiar with all except the last one so I'll give him a shot.
Some of my favorite discoveries of the past few years are Karnataka, the band "2002" , Hammock, both ambient bands, Airbag from Norway (Bjorn Riis), but the one that had the deepest impact on me was the Neal Morse Band, which ties into Transatlantic, Dream Theatre, Liquid Tension Experiment, Spock's Beard, Flying Colors, the Dixie Dregs, as family ties go.
Yes I knew of Neal Morse, I just never gave him a fair shake, until I rededicated my life back to the Lord, and realizing that didn't mean I had to morph into some judgey wudgy ass, rather, just a better version of myself. I could still be ME, just different. Spiritually healthier. Suddenly his music resonated with me because our back stories were so similar.
In 2021 the Neal Morse Band did a version of Bridge Over Troubled Water you must check out btw)🔥
I fell in love with that band with the 2021 album "Innocence & Danger"
and that led me to discover the insanely huge prolific back catalog of Neal Morse which spans like over 50 albums, so it was like an entire universe full of new discoveries for me. I still haven't absorbed everything yet LOL
So, I made a video for one of their Epics, Beyond the Years. Worked on it night & day for 4 months, then personally handed it to all 5 band members when I met them in Los Angeles, and although I have yet to complete a reboot, final version of it, it still came out as one of the best productions I've ever done.

If you like so much Dimash (I agree with you I'm a Dear) I suggest to you to check out Forestella - South korean music group. They are fantastic. I think the best vocal group now in the world. I've noticed if you love Dimash you love Forestella too... wonderful vocals and mix of pop operatic rock music.
