Marcelo Bielsa was the reason my national team " Chile " won the Copa America 2 finals in a row against a good Argentinian national team with Messi included. It's true Leeds-U should feel lucky to have a legend like him. He wanted to coach in England and he could have coached one of the top power house teams but he choose Leeds -U for a reason. He is passionate about bringing teams back to greatness again.

Leeds are still seen as a big club not just in England but all over the world. I've seen Leeds shirts in Cuba to Lanzarote etc etc I've been a Leeds fan all my life and have the old Yorkshire rose Leeds badge tattoed on my forearm. MOT

@@stevenclark6209 well I think it's extremely unlikely for him to leave just after this season, and if we achieve this season whilst still not earning promotion, I'm sure he will see out his contract for next season, with a good chance of it happening next season. You only have to look at the influence he is having and work he is doing through the training ground changes, as well as change of players productivity on the pitch

As a Marseille fan i felt in love with him when he coached us sadly he left after 1 season,but it was enough to love and appreciate this man.

He's amazing! When he coached Athletic Bilbao he got them to the final of Europe League Atletico Madrid and got them 4th place with his football philosophy.

I am from Brisbane, Australia. Grew up a Man UTD fan and I know they are hated rivals but because Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka rocked the amazing Leeds white I always have loved them as well. Every FIFA I build them up back to where they belong, the Champions League Final! They will be back!! Go Leeds

To those who no nothing about Leeds history read on. Between 1965 and 1975 they won 2 titles and 5 runners up, 1 FA Cup and 3 seconds. 2 Fairs Cup, now called the Europa Cup, 1 League Cup And 2nd in European Cup Final after referee cheated them. 1992 champions and regular champions league appearance in the 1990s semi final in 2001, then it all went wrong.

Nuno isnt a decent manager, he is a very very good manager for a squad where there is plenty room for improvement. He has beaten and drawn against the top clubs so many times and we have only just been promoted

I love how in the beginning of the video the presenter glosses over his titles in Argentina. South American club football isn't great today, but it was a great honor to win titles in Brazil and Argentina during the early 90's. That's way more impressive than say Swansea winning the League Cup. Looking at Bielsa, he's such a quirky guy, I don't think he would manage a "big" club. It seems that he enjoys projects where he can instill his style of football. As some have stated, he's the reason why Chile, which had been irrelevant since the time of Salas and Zamorano, ended up winning the Copa America.

Fans often implore their directors to "get the chequebook out" and Ridsdale proves what happens when you do. It's obscene the amount of talented youngsters who have come through the Thorpe Arch academy who have had to be sold on elsewhere. You could have had a decent home grown Premier League side out of them.
